The reminder on the iPhone requires several stages by adding things. You have to open the app, then find a relevant list, then work. Certainly, you can use Siri, but Siri makes mistakes in my experience, and I like to type things. In the past, I have used and recommended Remindmfaster appWhich reduces the work required for a tap. Now, Apple has integrated the concept directly into iOS 26, which gives a better (and sharp) experience to add tasks to the reminder app.
The new reminder control of iOS 26 can be added to the control center, lock screen or action button. No matter where you trigger it, it brings a quick entry system that floats above everything, allowing you to add a reminder with the list of fixed dates, location and your choice.
Setting new quick reminder shortcuts
As mentioned above, you can add new reminder control to one of the three new places. For the fastest entry, you can choose a lock screen or control center option.
Open the control center, tap and hold in an empty area, and tap Add a controlNow, find and add New reminder Control. Then you are free to put it anywhere in the control center, and you can also expand its size.

Similarly, go to the lock screen, tap and hold the wallpaper, choose to conditionAnd then choose both Control At the bottom button. Switch it New reminder controlAnd you are good to go.
To add it to the action button setting , Action button , Control , Choose a control , New reminder,
I personally set the new reminder togle in the control center, okay. I do not use any action button action, and I like to have a torch and camera icon on the lock screen, so the control center is the best option for me.

Now when the new reminder control is in front and center, the time has come to test it.
Tapping on it will reveal a new floating window on top of the iPhone screen (it will also work on iPad and MAC).
Here, you can tap on the dropdown icon to select a list – it will remember the list you last, so you will not need to change it every once. Next, type the reminder, and you can also add notes here (pasting in notes works expected). Then, you can use the natural language to add a fixed date (for example, “Tomorrow at 9 am” and then choose time from the suggestion bandage). You add a place, or flag it as an important task. Then, tap on the checkmark icon to save the reminder.
