This is not a camera that will make you a better nature photographer and separate your photos. Neither this is a lens nor a photoshop. This is knowledge that makes the difference, and this nature app will give you a big step in that area.

seek
With the search, you can identify almost any animal or plant. You just have to take a picture and upload it; The app will give you information about what is in the photo. Although it may not seem a big thing with Google lens and visual looks are available on our phone, Seak focuses on giving you comprehensive information about plants and animals.
For example, the app provides complete classification information including scientific names, classes, families and so on. Although I do not need to know these details, I appreciate that I can use the opportunity to learn about the natural world. Then when I see a similar species, I can connect dots with its equality.
The app range, seasonal, availability nearby and also shows any similar species. As a macro and bird photographer, I find it very easy because I can get all the relevant details in one place. For more information, there is no need to go back to Google, which saves time and lets me focus more on my photography.
Challenges and badges also encourage you to get out and learn more about the organisms around you. I am impressed by how my love is fed to learn.

Marlin Bird ID
If I had to give credit to a factor that my bird photography improved significantly, then it would be Marilyn. This is the mind-borne, because I always thought that my 120-frame-sequent camera and 1.4x teleconverter would make a difference. Not to mention that Marilyn is completely independent, while I have spent hundreds and even thousands of dollars on my gear.
Marilyn is a super-simple app that the whole family can enjoy; It uses a sound identity to help you identify nearby birds. Once in the park, natural area, or trail, start recording audio. The apps will listen to the sounds and list all the nearby birds. When you hear a particular bird, the app will flash his name. So you can learn to identify bird sounds in real time.
If you go to the same place several times, you make sure a specialist to become a bider because the bird’s voice immediately becomes familiar. Before using the app, I was shooting without any signal. Even with a guidebook in hand, it was a disappointing experience. But Marilyn makes birding and bird photography accessible and pleasant.
With recognition, you can also find out birds in your area by learning your limits, seasonal and rareness. Through research and experience, it took me years to learn all this on my own. So if you are a novice bird photographer, get this app first before purchasing any other camera gear.

Alltrails
Unlike the above two apps, Alltrails did not give me new information. Instead, it helps me to avoid being lost on the mark. Earlier, I would often be photographed while my group proceeded. It would be a nervous-vracing until I found them or saw a trail marker.
With alltrails, I prefer to check the trail in advance and start the trail on the app just before the hiking. Now, I am no longer worried about going to a footpath or losing my way. I know where I am all the time. That peace of mind allows me to stop at the grand nature around me and focus.
What is more, the app allows you to detect additional trails or join any other trail and take a separate route. I can also discover especially wildflower or animal-specific trails. The community aspect of the app is helpful, allowing you to check reviews and photos.
Going to a remote place without mobile network? No worry. The premium version, alltrails+, lets you download the trail map for offline use. I do not have a plus version, but if you need an upgrade then it is good to have an option.

Ebird
Ebird is a civil science app where all users add their bird view to a database. Scientists then use this information for research. You can make a checklist and keep an eye on all the birds you see. In addition to making the list, I use it to find a birding hotspot nearby.
After using Marilyn, I did not feel the need for another birding app. But I was surprised by the bird photographers I met on the trails, often run to see a rare bird that someone was seen in the area. The birding community could be smaller, but I was still curious how they always knew the latest views. Enter rare bird alerts of Ebird.
As soon as someone adds a rare bird to its checklist at a particular place, you will get an alert. Then, whatever you are doing, leave it, run on the spot, and hunt – for that elusive bird – speaking first.
Bird photography is a slow and brain process for me, and I like to keep it in this way. So I do not want to get caught in the competition to find rare birds, but I like interested and conversation that Abord brings. Even though I happily closed the notification now, I still check the page of rare birds what is happening in the community.

Inseparable
Inaturalist is the mother of all nature apps and does not require any introduction. As someone living in a new country, I trusted the immoralist very much to understand organisms in my new house. Without the app, I was completely lost – or completely lost interest. (This was the way before the start of the Seak app.)
The latest version has AI-operated equipment to make your learning more enjoyable. Along with identifying the species, the new immoralist gives a confident percentage. It identified my Baltimore Oriol photo with a confidence rating of 79%. I am sure of the species, but inhumanist probably gave that value due to the front leaf.
The app also has a community discussion section where other people can add their expertise. Somebody once gave a mini-read on the difference between a muscat and a beaver, in the comments.
This special feature, with many layers of check, is invaluable to me because the apps are not always right. I once added the wrong name to an organism, which an app said wrong. Someone said that during an exhibition in an art gallery, which was shameful.
