Have you ever wondered why Linux fans are so emotional about their OS while others only complain about it? Is it a matter of blind to the properties (or flaws) of a side operating system? Ok i show you how Ostenta Some can be hated by others – like me!

The mainstream computing world often misunderstand Linux, given the complexity where enthusiasts see freedom. I personally spent years in both worlds and have discovered some attractive discovery – many reasons avoid Linux, exactly what makes it attractive to its fans. Can the folk be held guilty because Linux embraces enthusiasts as facilities. Here are five examples to showcase this incident!

7 Reasons Why Windows users avoid Linux (which are no longer true)

    Time to take red pill!

So many misleading options: so many amazing tastes

For many people, Linux begins to feel heavy even before installing it. First of all, you feel like hundreds of distribution (or distros) that excludes your pick. Some of these distruses provide separate desktop environment and some also throw some tiling window managers. After that, it can ask you to take your file system: EXT4, BTRFS, or something else. Even post-installation, you sometimes have to consider between software sources and formats: official repository, third-party repo, or contained solutions such as Snap and Flatpacks.

Many people feel overwhelmed by this abundance of choice. However, this is what I like about Linux! Having so many options it seems that someone has given me a La Cart Menu, and I am really choosing what I want – and every item is free! No one is forcing me to accept what They think The best for me. I can tailor my complete computing experience for my specific needs and preferences.

Standing learning state: access to powerful facilities

Most people visiting Linux understand that it is a separate operating system and may include some learning. However, they can also think that it will work similar to Windows or MacoS, and they just need to learn different names or shortcuts for the same functionality. Unfortunately, Linux is a completely separate animal and may have a unique workflow that demands that you invest at the same time when you spent learning window or MacoS.

For example, a ganom-managed distro focuses too much on the virtual desktop as the center of its workflow. It is not designed to mimic windows or MacoS and may feel disappointing. Then KDE is plasma-based distroses-which offer a Windows-like desktop layout. However, this reference menu will be surrounded by tons options, as soon as you right-click somewhere. Again, it may feel heavy, but it is just expected from a desktop environment that is focused around adaptation.

Finally, if you are switching on Linux, and you want to use some more powerful characteristics, then you need to invest in learning how it works. I personally enjoyed learning experience, and I could say that before Linux, I never knew that an OS could increase your productivity!

He said, you do not need to know how every facility works immediately, or what is the best way to use it. You can just boot your Linux PC, open the app you want to use, do your work and log off. I started this exactly! When I had free time, I will check various settings to learn more about my distro, and I will find out how much more productive and efficient your operating system can make. The learning state is really standing, but powerful unlock is definitely worth it!

When starting with Linux, choose a distro that is adapted to behave like Windows or MacoS to make the infection easier and the learning state is less standing. You will find these distroses copying your old OS, so things are more familiar.

Another obstacle for Linux newcomers is the absence of familiar applications, especially if your workflow depends on the Microsoft office or Adobe products, which lacks Linux support. Most people avoid Linux just because these apps do not work.

However, the absence of these apps does not mean that you cannot do creative or office work on Linux. For example, you have a Libreoffice to handle most of your documents, while Gimp and KRITA are more than enough for regular image editing and digital art. Davinci resolve also provides professional-grade video editing on Linux, directly competing with Adobe Premiere Pro.

The reason you may not hear about these free options are not because they are bad apps, rather, they do not invest in huge marketing campaigns! In fact, most independent and open-source apps rely on their community of users to spread the word. For example, the discovery of new software seems like a fun adventure – with people, listening to their workflows, and searching for new equipment that can make me more productive – and this is an experience that I personally enjoy!

If you do not want to roam in community forums for app recommendations, you can see Alterntiveto.net To find free and open-source options. Once you see the features of your choice, you can see youtube to see if you like the user interface and then install it.

Unlike Windows or McOS, the Linux Distroses usually do not come with an official support team. Until you use a payment service, you cannot call or email someone when things go wrong. Instead, you rely on forums filled with online communities and volunteers. It may look like a downgrade, but I have found it a surprisingly better solution.

Just because someone is at the other end, which is picking up your call, does not guarantee that your problem will be solved quickly! Corporate support often follows rigid scripts and cannot really solve your specific problem.

The Linux community, however, consist of consisting of experienced users involved with decades of knowledge that really want to help. Without corporate oversight, you will find diverse approaches and several possible solutions rather than a company approved approach. It seems to be free for options and make your own decisions, which solution works best for your situation. Support may not be immediate, but in my experience, it is usually more effective.

Linux puts you on the driver’s seat of your computing experience. This level of control makes many uncomfortable – if something breaks, it is your fault! You need to consider carefully what you install, which settings you modify, and what changes you make.

This power may feel intimidating for the first time. I definitely felt this. But here is free truth: If something breaks, you can always start fresh! It usually takes 15–20 minutes to restore Linux, and with proper backup habits, you never need to start with scratches. After all, things will not break as many times, as you learn everything works, and you subdue the cosmic dragon (or penguin, in this case)!

This is the only difference between renting an apartment where you cannot change anything and are the owners of a house, but you can modify if you want. Is this more responsibility? Absolutely! But this is a trade-off that I happily accept my PC to actually accept, rather than only to use it on someone else’s terms.

Linux is a powerful operating system with its sets of professionals and opposition – like all other operating systems! However, depending on your specific requirements and requirements, what other people see, as opposition you can present yourself as professionals. It is all a matter of perspective!
