I am a great fan of my encrypted SSD, and that drive and I have traveled to the world together. But there are times when looting an SSD is not an option. This is where it is easy to have something lighter and more compact.
Perhaps even something that may be associated with a key tea kitchen, such as USB flash drive, but not a simple USB flash drive.
What I am using is a hardware-encrypted USB flash drive, Kingston Iron’s Vault Privacy 50,

Externally, it looks like a flash drive with any other premium-quality. Business end has a regular USB-A connector compatible with USB 3.2 General 1, making it compatible and good performance (250 MB/S Reid, up to 180 MB/S Right Speed). If you want to use it on the device with a USB-C port, it will work, but you will need a dongle or an adapter, or to get to get USB-C version of drive,
But there is too much technique packed in an alloy shell. The heart of this drive has an XTS-AES 256-bit hardware encryption engine that always encrypted all data on the drive. Data is never left in plain text at any time, making it a very safe option.

The drive has all the characteristics of a high-end, high-protection, encrypted drive. It has the security of the underlying cruel force and the badusb attack, support for complex/passfrez mode, and a writing-reserved mode. It also has an inherent physical protection, such as the epoxy resin to prevent tampering.
This is perfect for on-the-go data security. No power is required, there is no battery to charge, and there is no software to install on the host system.
Why do I recommend this product
First of all, this drive only works. I had mine Kingston Iron’s Vault Privacy 50 Now for a few years, and it is fantastic. It still looks like new and works. I have also managed to lose the drive cap, which is quite achievement!
I like something else about this drive that it comes in various capabilities – up to 16GB 512GB – and it is competitively priced, starting with only $ 57. Yes, you are paying a premium for an encrypted flash drive, but there is a very minor premium.
If it can avoid living in my pocket for an extended period, it is a very strong gadget.
