I have finally done this – I persecute my smart TV. Now, I am fully smart TV, and with any other TV for that case, and it may be time for you to do so.

Too much space
I have become an essential person in the last few years. I do not think full-atheetaism is the right way for me (from the perspective of at least one material), but whatever I do with my time is being done intentionally about what I do-along with the objects that I have-I have been extremely beneficial. I regularly audit my life to determine what is and not serving me, and this time, my smart TV made the chopping board.
I live in a fairly small apartment, and it is very important to use our space wisely. When I looked at things honestly, I will need to remove something more for TV so that it can remain understandable. I was not ready to get rid of my desk or work corner, nor did I want to use the spare room; If I did the latter, I know for the fact that my TV will collect dust.
This left me with only one option, which made it understand: to get rid of it completely.

Consumption was very easy
Ever since the first time digital subclavism is reading, I have become very aware of my digital consumption habits. However, I am perfect. I sometimes slip back in my old ways, and often, it creeps me over time.
Earlier in the year, I was angry about how I liked my digital consumption that I like. My screen time increased considerably, and I caught myself trying to fill my free time with excitement, when still sitting or going to walk, it must have been more complete and effective.
For me, having a smart TV was a special source of uninterested consumption. I often switch to random shows because I wanted to justify being a TV, but in fact, I found those programs boring and almost always a waste of time.
To stem the tide and return to the position of strength, I decided that it was enough. Since then, I have also sought to determine strong boundaries along with other equipment, including removing all apps, even with a slight risk of spiralting in overconsation.

I can access whatever I want from my tablet
For a long time, I asked if I also need smart TV. Compared to my iPad, the benefits were minimal. Certainly, I could see the show with others, but I would host a good dinner, who will see a good dinner, which I know that no one is really interested.
If I ever need to watch TV, I will use my tablet. If I am traveling, I can take it from my living room to the airport. When combined with gadgets to stay stress-free during the journey, it is a great option to kill time waiting for the flight.
The only reason for I had a smart TV before I did not have a tablet. Now with the requirement, the option to keep someone will be based on the falling cost falls rather than logic.

It was another piece of technology to worry
Digital minimalism is largely applied to social media and other online tools, but I also feel that it is generally worth adopting an important approach to technology. I do not understand the point of being some equipment because other people do, especially if they add more stress in your life.
Anyway, combined with its declining use, I fed up to worry about my smart TV all the time. In addition to more worries like watching and stealing it, I also did not want to deal with software updates or potential digital safety threats. Yes, it is important to protect your smart home from hackers.
Another issue was to call a technician or repair the problem, if it stops working. Apart from my TV, I already had to worry about my smartphone, Apple Watch, iPad, Computer, Headphone and various other gadgets. Instead of adding more to your plate, I felt it is time to finish some things.

I wanted more meaningful conversation
TV, in my opinion, do not talk to another person who is not talking to another person with whom you are in the room. I argue that it is as frightening as both people are scrolling on their smartphones, if not much. Since this was not the best way to spend time, I decided to take action.
When you live with someone, I think it is intelligent to spend at least some time to interact with them every day. You do not need to debate Nietzsche actions every day, but speaking about your days at least is a good idea. This is even more important if that person is a partner.
For me, as a smart TV owner, I was prevented from those conversations. As a result, I wanted to remove it from my life and make it to a more meaningful conversation.

I did not use most streaming subscription
Even before selling my smart TV, I made a conscious effort to reduce the number of memberships with me. The cancellation of all streaming membership for a few months had many beneficial effects for me, such as what was really valuable. Unexpectedly, I realized that majority were timing and not too much.
After auditing my membership, I put Max and Disney+ (Max better than Netflix for my needs). However, I did not see the matter in keeping live sports subscriptions. My life is full of many other things that I rarely see events; Instead, I will be able to catch with highlights at one time on Sunday evening.
I decided that I do not need smart TV or any other membership, such as YouTube premium, either. I had left video gaming long ago and now there was no console, so I could not justify being TV for those reasons.

No more with Jones
While we can say “Do not compare yourself to others until the cow comes home”, humans naturally compare themselves to others. It does not matter how many books you have read about Stoism or the number of self -esteem you have shouted at yourself in the mirror.
The “Keeping Up with the Jones” incident took me years to disconnect me. Once I seriously assessed the decisions I made, why I made a reason that I had cared for a TV to be successful for others.
As soon as I paid attention to it, I got rid of my smart TV without thinking twice. He went to my house for every other status symbol, just as I did not really want clothes.

I wanted less screen in my life
Nowadays, we have screens everywhere. The checkout is a self-location to my grocery store. We check our phone several times daily, and many people also work on computers. I really believe that a key of a good life has to limit the number of screen you have, and I wanted to run this experiment. (Spiiler: did this work.)
I saw my life and audited everything. All unnecessary screens were removed. My TV was one of them, and I am very happy without it.
Selling my smart TV has been a great decision, and I regret zero. My house has more space and an excuse to at least consume. In addition, I have also audited my membership further; It is nice to save money as a bayproduct, I should accept.
