Many developers have already announced (And released) Switch 2 versions of your existing titles and now join the club with some news about Gameloft Disney Dreamlight Valley.
In a declaration on social media, it has been confirmed that its popular life sim is eventually making its way on Nintendo’s new hybrid platforms. In this message, it is also mentioned how the current switch version is also compatible with the new system.
“We are happy to declare that the Nintendo Switch version of Disney Dreamlight Valley is compatible with Nintendo Switch 2! Stay for more information about a nintendo switch 2 version of the game.”
There are no other details about the dedicated switch 2 release at this stage, but if we hear anything similar to a payment upgrade path, free update, or anything similar for the existing switch players, we will tell you. The title was originally planned to be free-to-play and released as a paid package.
When it originally came to the switch to Eshop in September 2022, we called it “comforting on Life Sims”, but also noted how it was “poorly customized” to the system. Since then, it has received several major updates to add new content and experiences.
