Tiktok is starting in-app guided meditation practice, the social network announced on Thursday. The company began testing meditation practice with selected teenagers earlier this year and is now providing this feature to all users on its app.
The idea behind the convenience is to help users to improve their sleep quality and encourage them to keep the app down during late night endless scrolling sessions.
For teenagers under the age of 18, meditation will be turned on by default. If a teenager is using the app after 10 pm, the feed feed for them will be interrupted by a guided attention practice that encourages them to air for the night. In meditation, there is a cool screen and soft music -with the exercise of breathing -soft music.

If the teenagers choose to ignore the message and continue to use the app, they will see a second full-screen prompt that will naked them to go to sleep.
Tikok has been introducing new teenage security features over the years in response to concerns on the impact of the app on its youngest users. The new meditation facility marks the company’s latest efforts to please MPs.
Those who are interested in adult meditation feature can turn it on by navigating on the screen time settings page of the app. From there, you simply need to toggle at the “Sleep Hour” feature. You can choose at what time you want to see meditation exercise every night.
Tikok also announced that it is going to donate $ 2.3 million to 31 mental health organizations in 19 countries around the world as part of its mental health education fund.
