In addition to the best key finder claimants such as Tile Pro and Tile Mate, the tile lineup also includes special trackers for more specific tasks. Tile Slim 2024 Review: Price and Availability
The cost of tile slim is $ 30 – more than $ 25 tile mate but less than $ 35 tile Pro.
This $ 30 costs only to the black version of the wallet tracker. The tiles offer slim in a total of eight color combinations, but increase version prices in green, aqua, navy and pink.
The extra color is definitely more eye-holding than the original black version-I definitely liked the look of a green tile slim that I tested. But a slot was tucking inside your wallet with the tracker – and thus to see most of the time – is the color of the color really worth an extra $ 3?
Tile Slim 2024 Review: Design and Features
With its 3.4 x 2.1 x 0.1-inch dimensions, the tile slim was designed to slip into a wallet, and on 14 grams, it is not adding any admirable weight.
A device that thinly does not leave much space for a changed battery. Indeed, like tile mate and tile stickers, tile slim uses a non-perfect battery, although the manufacturer considers the use of three years before the need for replacement.
A Life360 logo in the lower left corner – Life360 now owns the tile brand – couple in the form of a button. Press it twice, and you can make your phone ring. The new Life360 app for the latest model is integration with the new Life360 app, which lets you set the button for triple press to trigger SOS alerts for your reliable Life360 contacts.
This is a good addition, although you are forced to choose a two-way search feature for your phone or SOS alert. None of the new tile products can support both alerts.
In addition, the feature set of tile slim is similar to its predecessor – and in fact, for all tile tracking devices. You combine the tracker with a tile app (AndroidIOS), which allows you to resonate the finder from your phone. By doing this, there is an alarm trigger to help you track the location of your wrong wallet or purse.
The tile slim connects on Bluetooth, there is no support for Ultra Wideband connectivity offered by Apple’s Airtag or Samsung’s Galaxy Smartag 2. Certainly, none of those products are wallet shaped nor can they work on phones that are not iPhone or Galaxy devices respectively. Tile slim enjoys widespread compatibility.
Tile Slim 2024 Review: Performance
The tile slim promises a 350-foot range similar to the tile mate, which gives you a lot of space to find your wallet, should you leave it behind. And in my test, which I set the tracking and held it in a public park and given how far I could be before losing the range, the tile slim posted the numbers with the tile mate, which I reviewed. In fact, tile slim also offered the maximum distance, even if the range was almost the same.
This is good news. The bad news is that 2024 trackers of the tile reduced their promised range in my testing. The farthest that I got from the Batu tracker was 75 feet before the connection fell, and the distance of 50 to 70 feet was more specific. It is far from 350 feet on the label.
I try to take a fine scene about these results. The results in Bluetooth trackers may vary widely in my experience, and the important thing is that the tracker performs continuously – something that you can definitely say about slim. However, I could not ignore the fact that my best range with 2024 models was worse than Slim 2022 – and the limited range was one of the biggest opposition of that device.
A 104-desebel alarm helps you find tile slim when you love your wallet or purse incorrectly, although after about 60 feet, I had trouble listening to the beep on any surrounding noise. To bury the tile slim in the laundry pile – Hey, I can’t count the number of time when my wallet is left in the back pocket of a pair of pants, which I have obstructed the cloth – I also had difficulty hearing the alarm from a room.
Tile premium accounts for all these major searches, include tile slim, where you pay $ 30/year for some additional features, the most important of which is smart alert. These alerts will send you a pinge when the tile tracker is left behind, although there is some delay before that notification arrives. Once I went for a 10 -minute walk around the block without my wallet, and the smart alert only reached my iPhone, until I was taking back my front steps.

Tile Slim 2024: Decision
Among all the things that let the Bluetooth trackers keep an eye on you, wallets and purse seem to be the most valuable – losing your keys may be an annoyance, but losing something with your cash, credit cards and IDs can have serious consequences. So naturally, you want a tool that re -distribute time and time.
Despite a design designed for the wallet, the tile slim 2024 simply does not distribute the coherent performance that I want to see from a wallet-specific tracker. If the range test was prolonged and the alarm was a little easier to hear at some distance, then I would be more confident of using it in a variety of settings. As it stands, it works best to find where you have left your wallet in your home, but under other circumstances, it is very hit-end-miss for my taste.
