The tribunal Stormbox Lava Speaker has blown me up. This speaker enhances bass as I have not tried anyone else and there is a complete theft compared to some Best Bluetooth Speaker,

While the speaker has land around me (especially on exbas preset), crisp traables and perforated mids are also terrible. Meanwhile, the fellow app also allows you to customize the sound, and even racks more bass.

The smooth design and portable nature of the speaker means that it is easy to take anywhere, and its IP67 rating means that it is well preserved for any scenario – from a sandy beach to the edge of the pool.

    You may like

Of course, the battery is lower than the previous speaker model by tribute and if you want to use true wireless stereo function, you will need to buy another speaker, but not let it happen, because this volume that produces this speaker, means that you will not need a stereo function.

To learn more about how I got, you can read my full tribunal Stormbox Lava Review.

Tribet Stormbox Lava Review: Price and Availability

Tribet Stormbox Lava is priced at $ 126 and is available for purchase Amazon USand from Amazon UK For £ 126. You can pick up for a similar price JBL Flip 6 ($ 129), which has the same waterproofing rating, but is very small and has half a quoted battery life.

The speaker only comes in black, which I think it looks very smooth. But if you are in the market for something that gives you the option of colors, then you can check our favorite Bluetooth speaker for bass performance, JBL Extreme 4 ($ 379), or Sonos move 2 ($ 449).

But there is no doubt that the Tribit Stormbox Lava is the cheapest of these options, while still offering a lot of bass, so it can not be bad to sacrifice color.

Tribit Stormbox Lava Review: Design and Building

    • Knitted handle
    • Layer
    • IP67

Tribet Stormbox Lava is a very good looking speaker. There can be no glowing light on it Tribe Stormbox Blast 2 ($ 279), but this means that it would look good with practical design in any situation.

The lava is not too heavy, only 5.07lbs weighing, and easy to move around. There is a velvety shoulder strap involved with the speaker that can be adjusted to make it even more comfortable. However, I opted to use the viosable woven handle (also included) during the test. I found this a more managed option because the shoulder strap meant that the speaker was swinging on my side.

Although it is purposefully larger, especially compared to JBL Extreme 4, Stormbox Lava is very compact that produces sound. Measuring 12.20 x 5.98 x 5.78 inches, I found a full-house-filled sound with a comparatively slight bulk.

With easily transportable, it is designed to use it anywhere with a waterproof rating of IP67. This rating means that the speaker is submerged in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes, which makes it perfect for the pool parties or rain conditions.

IP67 also means that the speaker is completely tight, so you can take it to the beach and do not worry about the sand -running sand. However, it only seals completely when the rubber cover that protects the USB port behind the speaker is closed.

    Tribet Stormbox Lava Review: Control

    • Simple onboard control
    • Partner app for control and EQ
    • Annoying playback control

The tribute is extremely simple to control the Stormbox, but there are some options for it How You can control it.

There are control over the top of the speaker including power buttons, volume control, play/poses, Bluetooth pairing, Xbas and True wireless stereo (TWS) pairing (later more).

Disappointingly, the play/poses button needs to double-tap to leave a song, or triple-tap to leave back. This would not hurt the style to add two additional dedicated buttons for playback control, and would make the user completely easier. When I wanted to leave the song, I just used my phone, which proved to be easy.

I also downloaded the Tribit Companion App. You can control the volume from the app, but the more interesting thing is that there are EQ presets and 10-band custom EQ options. The XBASS EQ preset is the signature of this speaker, however, so why it has its own dedicated button on top of the unit. I will discuss EQ in more detail in the audio display section.

    Tribet Stormbox Lava Review: Facilities

    • TWS Stereo Mode
    • Bluetooth 5.4

The tribute can form a pair with another lava unit in Stormbox Lava Tids mode, for double speaker surround stereo playback. It is active through the button on top of the speaker and then two speakers will play music in united – a terrible feature but then you will leave $ 260.

The speaker uses Bluetooth 5.4 that gives a more stable connection to the Bluetooth speaker than previous versions. It also reduces any gaps experienced with the speaker and has a 40 feet Bluetooth range.

Tribet Stormbox Lava Review: Sound Quality

    • XBASS is booming
    • Crunchy Mids and Vowels
    • Good sound without bass

Whenever I test the new audio devices, the first thing is how the bass performs, so I was excited to try the XBASS function on this speaker. The XBASS is an EQ preset, but on top of the device is a dedicated button that lets you turn on and off without the requirement of the app.

The Tribet Stormbox distributes on all fronts, but excellently with its bass performance. Less frequencies are very powerful – the floor was really shaking in it. The 30W Neodymium runs the magnetic woofer bass easily, and it is very impressive.

I heard Tonight (I wish I was your boy) Until 1975 there are some delicate high tones, but the entire song has a driving bass. It looked absolutely epic and the bass became so strong in the song that it shaved the table which was on the speaker. I would argue that this song is heard best on such speakers rather than earbuds, so you will get full immersive experience, and the tribe put me on repeating the song.

To test the speaker limits, I heard Gethsemane Sleeping tokens. The song is really diverse, starting slowly, before lifting in hip-hop driving and then reaching a metal top-it was shown to me that the speaker can handle anything that you throw it easily. The tribe caught the delicate tone with minimal tinnas, and placed them at the forefront even when he was heavily mids and bass from the guitar and drum.

Finally i heard Simple as By Jake Bagg, a sweet folk song. And yes, the speaker can also make a bass boom of a folk song. Even without Xbas, the speaker still gave a terrible sound, it did not just shake the floor.

I tested the 10-band custom EQ on this song, raised low frequencies to enhance the kickdram and extended the MIDS to compensate for the major tone. It looked great, although I lost some triple, especially the violin of the track. When I extended high frequencies to bring them back, I experienced some tinness, but overall lava put in a stellar display.

Tribet Stormbox Lava Review: Battery Life

    • 24 hours maximum battery life
    • Battery life is worse with the XBASS being turned on
    • Other equipment can charge

The tribute says that it takes about 5 hours to fully charge the Stormbox Lava and has a 24 -hour battery life. It is very impressive, although the Stormbox Blast is less than 2 with a maximum battery life of 20 hours. Lava’s battery life glasses are closed and the volume is transformed into only half the way.

I preferred to use the speaker with XBASS because it gave the music such a full sound, but it dried the battery rapidly. After hearing 3 hours on half the volume with XBASS, the charge was reduced by 20%, so I would expect to get something else with XBASS as 14 hours. If you hear with the volume, although it will decrease further.

Earfun Ubom X The speaker ($ 189) has a 30 -hour rated battery life when none of any of the lights is used, but it dramatically decreases to about 20 hours with the use of all features. So it is not uncommon for speakers to underperform, simply inconvenient.

To conserve the battery as much as possible on the tribunal stombox lava, you can enable you to close the auto through the app that will shut down the speaker if nothing is played for some time. I liked this feature very much because I often stop my music and get distracted, so it meant that I was not unnecessarily ruining the battery.

The speaker has ports under the rubber cover at the back side that allow it to act as a portable charger. It is super useful for the days of the beach where you are nowhere, but still need your phone.

    Tribe Stormbox Lava Review: Decision

I am seriously blowing from Stormbox Lava. This is cheaper than the previous tribute model like Stormbox Blast 2, but still packs a hell of a punch.

The speaker looks smooth and is easily portable with carry handle and strap, so you can take it on hike or holidays. Waterproof protection makes it an incredible all-rounder, from the beach days to the rain from the rain (Pina Colada is not involved).

The XBASS function is incredible, which really shakes the ground, even on half the quantity. Although in high amounts, sound quality is not compromised in the frequency range and there is hardly any tinnness – I only experienced this when I manually increased high frequencies.

With the fluff bass and crazy volume capacity of the Tribet Stormbox Lava, I have just found my perfect speaker at the right time for summer.
