Ugreen 2-in-1 QI2 magnetic foldable fast charging station review
Ugreen 2-in-1 QI2 magnetic foldable fast charging station is a wireless charging stand consisting of a QE base and upper Q2 module that easily folds downwards in a compact charging cuboid. It provides convenience and versatility, as well as a 5W USB-C output bonus on the right side of the base, which means that it can be easily upgraded to 3-in-1 charger with the addition of the Apple Watch charging puck.
With a list price of $ 49.99 / £ 39.99, Ugreen 2-in-1 QI2 is available to buy magnetic foldable fast charging stations from Ugreen website or Amazon. This is not a bad price for space-saving 2-in-1 wireless charger-especially with the advantage of an additional output. But I am still paying full price, as retailers can often get offers from both retailers, the price falls to $ 43 / £ 19.99 at the time of writing.
As not an adapter involved, and the USB-C cable has been provided, only 3.3ft / 1 meter long on the short side, Ugreen 2-in-in-1 QI2 proved to be a bit of disappointment in the magnetic foldable fast charging station accessory department. These days receiving an adapter is not uncommon, even with some best wireless chargers, but when it comes to multi-device chargers, it is already likely to be one with one hand that is quite powerful. In the case of this charger, Ugreen recommends a wall adapter of at least 30W to ensure efficiency.
2.4 x 2.4 x 1.5 inch / 61 x 61 x 38 mm, and when weighing 7.5oz / 213g, the foldable fast charging station was pleasing compact and lighter. The foldable design found me a truly satisfactory, especially how easy it was to return the charger to a small cuboid in a small cuboid, which whenever I needed to up my ear buds, or when I wanted to get it out of the way, proves to be convenient.
The foldable fast charging station is available in only one colorway, a combination of black and graphite, but has some good touch such as the metal finish of the outer cover of graphite-color and the mirror finish on the hinged arm that adds two charging modules. Able to angle the phone up to 70 degrees, this hinged arm made it a useful phone stand, and its strong mechanisms did a big job of maintaining the angles that I had adjusted it. The only slight negative side for this is that when a phone is in Situ, the situation is difficult to change, but it is only a minor discomfort.
Ugreen promises 360-degree rotation when the phone is magnetically connected to the QI2 charging pad, and I can confirm the matter. But when it changed the orientation of my phone easily, it also meant that a little elbow would leave my phone.
When I came out for a stand, I had no problem with the overall stability of the 2 -in -1 charging station, but whenever the phone screen was touched, it was a small case of Vobbals. Fortunately, this shakiness from where the charging pad meets the hinged arm, not by an unstable base, but it is known whether it is likely to be disturbed.
Despite its compact size, I would not advise to use it as a travel charger. I found that one of the side panels had a little movement because I was checking the build quality, and Q2 charging pads a little flexing on my finger pressing it, so I would beware of packing it into my luggage until I can guarantee that nothing can be pressed against it.
The iPhone charging was good for the performance price, our iPhone 13 Pro took 125 minutes to charge, which has a 2,600mAh battery capacity. When it came to charge Xiaomi 14, which has a 4,610mAh battery capacity, it took 280 minutes.
When it came to assessing cosmetics at the end of the test, I was happy to see that the metal plastic exterior still looks like new, even after weeks. This was a separate story to the surface of the Q2 charging pad, however, which was prone to show the fingerprint and finished with several small scuffs. The fingerprints can be cleaned, at least, although they proved to be very stubborn to remove, which I had to resort to wine wipes.
If you can see the visiting issues and easily marked QI2 charging pads, you will find that it is a great small charger that provides convenience and versatility in satisfactorily small packages. If you are looking for something that will look fresh for a long time, or wants a charger with more or less charging module, I suggest to take a look at my selection Best wireless chargers,
