Ugreen m571 vertical ergonomic mouse: two-minute review

Ugreen M571 is an attractive, inexpensive option for more expensive options than brands such as vertical ergonomic mouse loditech, which is a compelling option for those who get ergonomic benefits without value tags.

Unlike traditional mice that often force the wrist to a clear (or palm-down) position, this model is 57 and a near-curvy angle of ‘sail’. This design encourages a neutral, handshoch -like wrist position that I found quite more comfortable when using a mouse for an extended period.

While the Loditech lift is considered the best vertical mouse on the market, it offers a significant point of discrimination – its size. Many vertical mice, including lift, have a small frame. I have large mites, and my pinky finger is often slipping around the desk with the mouse, instead of resting on it.

Ugreen M571 provides a very broad base and larger frame, which greatly reminds Loditech MX vertical. This allows stable movement in a wide range of hand shape, as as your entire hand, including your little finger, remains on the indicator. The overall larger size of this Yugrin model does not make it unsuitable for small hands, however, the main grip area is shaped to adjust to almost any hand size.

From unboxing (where you will find slightly more than the mouse and a warranty booklet) for daily use, the experience of using this mouse is simple and straightforward. For me, it was a good thing. However, for those who require more advanced tasks, such as the ability to customize their mouse for keyboard-free use, this would be an important negative.

When I am not tapping on the keyboard, I usually need my mouse only for the most basic uses and I found M571 fantastic for my needs. Ugreen claims that the mouse provides “99% silent click and scroll” and, while neither clicks nor scallers are really silent, are under heavy control. Scrolling your hand or fingers without changing and scrolling left or right click is also incredibly easy, maintaining that ergonomic posture.

An important negative feeling about its design is its cheap feeling. Combined perfectly hard plastic, it is most noticeable in its palm grip, which has only one reply design rather than rubber grips found on some more expensive rivals. Although it is not slippery, it is the same material similar to the rest of the mouse and I found that this grip area could be smooth after long use. I think it will become an issue for those living in hot climate.

Beyond its original ergonomic feel, the special model of M571 tested for this review (SKU number 55916) is a slightly cheaper option that only connects through wireless USB dongle. Spending a little more can lead you a version with both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless, which can be one for anyone planning to use with a laptop-especially with the MacBook owners, which will no longer have the required USB-A port that you will need to use 2.4GHz wireless dongle.

On one hand, I found that the 2.4GHz connection is reliable and even filled with dozens of wireless equipment in a busy technique-focused office space, I did not experience any intervention with connectivity.

The mouse is powered by a single aa battery and after using it for several hours for a few days a week for two months, I have not seen any signal of deficiency. This suggests that the mouse should last for months of daily use before changing the battery.

The slightly confused design option with Ugreen vertical mouse is that it provides a dedicated mode for both Windows and MAC systems. It is togle through a switch at the bottom of the device, and changes affect the two side buttons that sit on top of the comfort of the thumb. In Windows mode, those buttons control the front and backward functions of your browser, but on Mac they switch applications. I specially tested a Mac and found this feature quite useful to quickly switch to the teammates to sluggish to respond, although it still looks like a potentially unnecessary addition.

When it comes to the spirit of the button, I found that the main left and right clicks were soft and quite sensitive, although I could still lift and move the mouse without accidentally clicking. I personally liked his feeling, despite that they are not providing a lot of touch response.

Two thumb-side buttons are the same; They offer a satisfactory deep press without feeling Christ. The scroll wheel is also slightly pointed rather than being completely smooth, making both difficult to slip and it becomes easy to control when making small scrolls, requiring a touch more accurate.

The optical sensor of M571 provides 4,000 DPI tracking, suitable for any regular application and even provides high adequate sensitivity to fast-titch gaming. You can also reduce DPI to three levels (1,000, 1,600 or 2,000), when different levels of accuracy are required. This is easily done with a press of the middle button that sits under the scroller.

Using M571 Ergonomic Mouse with my MacBook

While I had no problem during my review period, all-plastic manufacture of M571 and light weight suggests that heavy daily users may soon wear and see tears than a more strong, pricier option. My colleagues witness the minimum wear on the more expensive Loditech lift, it is clear that high quality materials can be more important for a mouse, which can a thought. The finish of M571 can also be severe even after intense work or sports sessions resulting in sweaty fingers.

However, given its cheap price, it is difficult to complain too much about these shortcomings. M571 is an excellent choice for those who want to try a vertical mouse without spending their price three or four times on a top-level option for the first time. Just a fraction of the logitech lift cost, it offers a great value for some small concessions.

Ugreen M571 Vertical Ergonomic Mouse Review: Price and Availability

(Image Credit: Techradar / Max delaneyy)
    • Cheapest model: AU $ 34.99 for 2.4GHz wireless via USB dongle
    • £ 22.99 / AU $ 39.99 for more advanced dual-connectivity model
    • Similar model is available in America for $ 29.99

Ugreen M571 vertical ergonomic mouse is an incredibly inexpensive alternative to which it is an excellent entry-level choice for those new to vertical mice. I personally prefer its feeling compared to a regular mouse, although it will not be for everyone.

Its strength makes it even more attractive possibilities, allowing users to try a vertical mouse before committing to more expensive options. And, it is available to users around the world for its widespread availability on Amazon.

However, note that the $ 29.99 model available in the US is slightly different from the model I have tested, the Bluetooth-capable version that is available in both UK and Australia. While it claims the same glasses – Bluetooth with both 5.0 and 2.4GHz connectivity – it introduces streaks in the area of the thumb that lacks others.

    price

Whether you opt for this dongle-only model or its Bluetooth-Eneensed Sibling, the price is undisputed. Solid connections, cool clicks and excellent speed for some coffee price.

    5/5

    design

Ergonomically, the design of this mouse was excellent. However, its larger frame can make it better favorable for medium to larger size hands and is made with inexpensive materials.

    4/5

    Efficiency

Offering 4 different DPI levels up to 4,000, this mouse is capable of handling some fast-paced gaming as well as day-to-day work.

    3.5/5

    overall

The Ugreen M571 vertical ergonomic mouse is very good for its price, but it lacks features like remPelable button, and its cheap build means that it will probably not meet the test of time. Nevertheless, it is excellent as an entry point to use vertical mice.
