July made an exciting month for the enthusiasts of the phone in India. We saw many flagship-grade handsets such as Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, and anything started the start. Many phones in the mid-range and budget segment also made their debut. Although this was certainly an incident, it is expected to bring down the publicity when the smartphone was launched on August. Some exciting launchs are still being launched in that month. Most especially, the Pixel 10 series will be unveiled by the Made by the Google event later in August.

Vivo Y400 5G
Launch date in India – 4 August
Vivo Y400 5G is expected to join the Pro model in India soon and will be sold in glam white and olive green color options. It is confirmed to sports a 6.67 -inch full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset will take the IP68 + IP69 rating for protection against dust and water entry. For optics, this 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 is teased to come with a double rear camera titled by primary sensor.
According to Vivo, its upcoming handset will support Artificial Intelligence (AI) such as Google’s Circle to Search, AI Transcript Assist, AI notes summary, AI caption, AI document, and more. The Vivo Y400 will pack the 6,000mAh battery with 5G 90W fast charging support.
Vivo v60
Launch date in India – 12 August (expected)
Vivo V60 is still another handset from China -based OEM which is expected to be launched in India soon. While its launch date remains under raps, rumors have given us an idea what to expect from the upcoming smartphone. The 6.67 -inch flat is estimated to have a 6.67 -inch flat AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,300 notes.
In the camera department, it may have a zes-branded triple rear camera unit which may include a 50-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 50-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto shooter. It can also get a 50-megapixel front camera for selfie and video calls.
Vivo V60 is expected to use Snapdragon 7 General 4 chipset and pack 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. This will possibly ship with Android 16-based Funtouchos 16. The report also states that it can meet the IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance rating.
Redmi 15 5g
Launch date in India – 19 August
Redmi 15 5G will be launched with a 6.9 -inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is confirmed to be operated by Snapdragon 6s General 3 chipset. The handset will ship with Hyperose 2.0 based on Android 15, as well as to search with support for several AI facilities including Google’s circle. Reports suggest that it can be introduced in the 8GB + 256GB configuration.
For optics, the handset is teased to carry an AI-supported 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup. It is also reported to be a 2-megapixel secondary sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter at the back. Camera Island is advertised for an aerospace-grade metal manufacture
Redmi 15 can support 5G 33W wired fast charging and is an IP64-rated build for protection against dust penetration and splatter.
Google Pixel 10 Series
Launch date in India – 20 August
Google Pixel 10 series is to be launched in med by Google Event. Similar to the 2024 lineup, we can expect four models – Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. One of the biggest changes of this year is expected to come in terms of chipset. Google is reported to switch to the TSMC from the Samsung Foundry to the TSMC to switch to the construction of tensor G5 chipset, which will power the Pixel 10 series.
Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL have been informed for a 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch screen respectively, with 4,870mAh and 5,200mAh batteries respectively. Both are expected to pack 16GB RAM.
Meanwhile, Google Pixel 10 is expected to have a 48-megapixel primary rear camera, 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 10.8-megapixel telephoto sensor. It can also pack a larger battery compared to Pixel 9.
Oppo K13 Turbo Series 5G

Last week, Gadgets 360 specifically spoke about the launch of Oppo K13 Turbo Series 5G in India. The lineup is expected to include two models-Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro, and both models will be equipped with a built-in fan for skilled thermal management. They are expected to take the specifications similar to their Chinese counterparts.
In China, Oppo K13 Turbo and Oppo K13 Turbo Pro have a 6.80-inch flexible AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rates, and 1,600 NITS peaks are global brightness. The standard model has a MediaTek Demission 8450 SoC, while the Pro variant is powered by a Snapdragon 8S General 4 chipset. They could ship with Android 15- Based Coloros 15.
The Oppo K13 Turbo Series 5G also comes with a 50-megapixel double rear camera system and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. They pack 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
