The spine of wood is dynamic and responsible, providing support to both of us, even if we are of different heights. Armrest is a grip for both of us, though. They are adjustable in height and width, but they do not pive inwards, so this chair may be a bit disappointed for anyone who likes to pull into the tight.
We have no other big frustration in 100+ hours that we have spent on this chair. This is a great chair; It is as comfortable as it was a day, and it is still working without any issue.
