German Sportswear Giant Adidas revealed a data breech last week when a customer service provider had stolen the data of some of his customers.
These incidents follow a series of other attacks targeting retailers in the United Kingdom over the last several months, including Harrods, Co-op and Marx and Spencer.
Marx and Spencer is now breeching for a possible hits of £ 300 million (about $ 402 million), which led to the sale and operational disruption of the breech.
Although it is unclear that these attacks are connected, the Dragonforce Rainsmware Operation has claimed responsibility for all three incidents. Bleepingcomputer also discovered that the attackers had employed the social engineering strategy associated with the scattered spider danger actors.
Last week, Google warned that scattered Spider is now targeting retailers in ransomware and forced recovery in the United States.
