Gamecube has joined the library of the Classic Games of Switch 2, and was recently updated with Mario Smash Football. While service experience has been fun so far, there are some reports of underlying issues with imitation.
Now, Digital Foundry has tested the gamecube emulation and backward compatibility – delaying examination, analog stick issues, frame drop issues on switch 2, and resolution and performance and performance improvement. The decision “some details need to participate clearly by Nintendo”.
“For arcade-perfect accuracy in the choice of F-Zero GX, additional input delays on Switch 2 should be ideally addressed, and similarly those analog stick sensitivity, the pattern of single-frame drop in all games is also a clear defect, but fundamentally four games released on the gamecuble classics page are represented.”
It follows a video of the game developer and Utubor Modern Vintage Gamer about the gamecube games on Switch 2 – the initial experience covers as “very good”, but there is some “clear” difference from the real experience.
To reach this latest switch classics library, you will need to access switch 2 and an active expansion membership.
