Switch 2 is now out for nearly a month and while Nintendo has already shared an official chart that confirms the compatibility of some switch accessories, our American-based senior video manufacturer Sion Grassal has now moved one step ahead with a video reminder.
He is testing various first and third-party switch accessories with Nintendo’s new hybrid system and has now shared this easy video as to what he does and what does not do on Switch 2. Even there are some goods. Malevolent Works, but still there are some failures. If you want a complete randon, watch the video above.
We have also highlighted Some? Of the items that will work below and will not.
(Most) will not work on switch 2:
- Official Nintendo Adjustable Charging Stand
- Original switch dock
- Genki secret dock (charging but no output)
- MicroSD card (will transfer only photos and videos, MicroSD Express Card Using Switch 2)
- Switch cases, but some cases and packs can still fit a switch 2 (PDP Sheikh Slate Case, Hori Adventure Pack)
- Nintendo switch console grips (satisfied etc.)
- Joy-Con grip holders, strap, charging standing, charging grip, and wheels do not work with Joy-C2
Switch will work on 2 (with some caves):
- Original Switch Joy-C (cannot be connected to the system)
- Select the original switch Pro Controller, Power-A Controllers, select Fight Stick, Poke Ball Plus (sleep from sleep)
- Ring Fit Adventure Accessories
- Nintendo Labo works on Switch 2 (System Tablet Labo VR Garh for Goggles)
- Switch 2 can be charged with switch AC adapter (power switch 2 do not do dock)
- USB Network Adapter (Use Ethernet Port instead)
