The WWDC 2025 is correct around the corner, and Apple is expected to update some large updates on the suit of its equipment – including the Apple Vision Pro.
First and most important, Apple’s annual developer conference shakes naming conferences for its software, so instead of Visionos 3, we can see Visionos 26. and if Bloomberg report Accurate, the next version of Apple’s spatial operating system is set to be “feature-packs”.
We have noticed how the vision Pro headset has developed over the years, including Apple Intelligence and Visionos 2.4 to add more features and to make special immersive experiences such as “Bono: Stories of Siegers” for Vision Pro.
But Apple has more in the tank, and whatever has been unveiled to get into the next Visionos update can give us a glimpse that to further down the line in other rumor headsets, like Vision Pro 2 or Apple Glasses.

Wwdc 2025: forecasted release date
With iOS 26, iPados 26 and Macos 26 Tahoe, we hope that Visionos 26 will be announced during Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference, which is taking place from 9 June to 13 June (see Apple WWDC 2025 Keenote here).
Since Visionos 26 has not yet been officially declared, we will not know when it will be released on stage. However, we can estimate a calculation when users can check it.
Apple’s first major update for its spatial computing OS, Visionos 2 came on 16 September – with other updates for their products. Keeping this in mind, Visionos 26 is expected to be released in mid -September, which occurs when the Apple traditionally brings its updates.
However, we can also guess that a visionos 26 developer beta will come for some time in July.
Visionos 26: Update User Interface
Since its launch, Visionos on the Vision Pro has always placed that Apple beauty, such as a combination between iOS, iPados and Macos. Now, the rumor is that Cupertino Tech giants are making some designs twics, but more importantly, its look is ready to inspire a major interface overhaul for iPhone, Mac and more.
As MarastersVisionos 26 will provide some minor design changes in its user interface. Not much knows what these changes can be, but it is expected that the cleaner will bring a fresh coat of paint for smooth navigation.
Interestingly, iOS 26 is expected to have a massive UI redesign, as well as with iPados 26, Macos 26, Watchos 26 and TVOS 26. It is clearly part of the codename “solarium”, with Mark Gurman of Bloomberg suggests that it will bring “stability and integration” to the ecosystem of Apple.
What is more, this design is ready to be inspired by updated visionos. This means that we can see more transported background and potential circular app icon. We will not know what it looks like it comes until it comes, and while Visionos 26 cannot see a significant design change, hopefully its look is left to other platforms.
Visionos gaming app
It is a big one. The Apple Vision Pro has a mixture of VR/AR games, such as vacation simulator, thrassher, proton pulse vision and more, but it has not expanded its enterprise in gaming like other headsets like Meta Quest 3.
All this can change, as Apple will reportly announce a new dedicated gaming app in WWDC 2025. It is expected to be a multi-platform app in Apple’s devices, making the Apple Arcade Title and Third-Party games more accessible through the current game center service and app store.
According to rumors, with the gathering of his gaming app in search of rival Xbox last year, a push has been made from Apple to detect their gaming abilities more. This seems to be the case, and the Vision Pro is expected to take full advantage of this.
Visionos 26: PSVR 2 Controller Support

As Bloomberg Report, Apple will bring an eye-scrolling feature to its vision pro headset. It combines its underlying eye-tracking support, which already allows users to see an app or element, with which they want to interact and use a hand gesture (thumb and index finger) to click on it.

So, what else will come with Visionos 26? Well, looking at the launch of Apple Intelligence, not all left very well and we have not yet to see a more personal head, we are hoping that big improvements will come in our way.
Since rumors indicate Apple to give integrated integration in all their products (now there is an Apple Vision Pro app on the iPhone), the reason to believe that any AI updates coming in iOS 26 will also come at Visionos 26.
So far, it may include advanced AI for Siri, third -party AI integration and more apps use in more apps. What is more, an AI battery management is the term of the feature, which will work well for the Battery of the Vision Pro.
Apple Intelligence must have a large talkings point in WWDC this year, and it will be surprising to see that Visionos 26 is left on the sideline if all other OS platforms get updates.
Accessibility facilities
As we know, for some, Apple announced the funds of accessibility upgrade for Visionos 26 which is coming to the end of this year.
For Apple Vision Pro, these features include the following:
- Braille access: To allow users to open any app by typing with a Braille screen input or connected Braille device.
- Accessibility reader: A new reading mode designed to simplify the text for users with a wide range of disabled (eg dyslexia or low vision).
- Extended view: Especially for Apple Vision Pro users, this update of zoom can increase everything with the main camera with its surroundings with the main camera.
- Better eye tracking: This will make it easier to type in-display on the keyboard.
- Shortcut: Exhibition Assistant Shortcut has been added to visionos and it will catch the idea to capture and remember the information in a note.
Visionos 26: promising upgradation?
Apple Vision Pro Tech has not been the most popular product of the legend, mainly thanks to its $ 3,499 value tag. But as Apple wants to expand its enterprise in spatial computing, especially against upcoming contestants such as Android XR, it needs to bring even more features to encourage people-especially if a vision Pro is on 2 or low-cost headset card.
If Visionos 26 is doubled on Apple’s gaming efforts, bringing support to VR controllers (or their own) and distributing a dedicated gaming app, including some of the best VR/MR games, will have a lot for Vision Pro.
