Hey iPhone user! If you haven’t heard yet, a group of new exciting updates is coming in Apple’s operating system. No, it will not be called iOS 19 – it will be named iOS 26. The change for which we are the most excited is the new liquid glass design (seems to be Windows Vista, but of course more thoughtful), which looks updated the biggest view of Apple over the years. (While beta is open to public and stable, always remember that beta is a degree of risk with software.) Is not ready to upgrade your smartphone this year? There is no concern, we will help you find out if your phone iOS 26 will be able to run.
Last year, Apple did not make any iPhones from its eligibility list, but this is not the case for 2025 – some models are being cut this time. All the iPhone 8 models and the iPhone X were final to get a boot in 2023, and this year the 2018 models are behind. If you have an unqualified tool, you will not be able to download iOS 26 when this decline is available.

What if I do not want to buy a new iPhone?
If you want to continue to use your old iPhone that is not supported by iOS 26, it is fine. However, you will recall the safety update that may probably risk your phone at risk for malware and other hazards. Additionally, some apps can stop working if they require iOS or later a certain version. And of course, you will not be able to reach the latest features iOS 26 offers.
When will iOS 26 be available?
Apple usually rolls its latest iOS in mid -September, hitting store shelves a few days before the new iPhones. Last year, it released iOS 18 on Monday, 16 September. The release date at the expected iPhone 17 event in early September is expected to be confirmed.
iOS 26 features we are excited
Liquid glass design, Your home screen is getting re-prepared with the new app icon, including dark mode and all-cleaer options. You will also see the button with a new floating design. Liquid glass was designed to make all the dews of Apple more harmonious.
Phone app redigine: You will finally be able to scroll through all contacts, recent calls and sound mail messages on a screen. It also comes with a new feature called Hold Assist which will inform you when an agent comes on the phone so that you can avoid lift music.
Live translation: iOS 26 is bringing the ability to interact through a phone call or text message with someone else who speaks another language. Live translation will translate your conversation in real time.
Pol feature: In the Sandesh app, the chat members will be able to make elections in group messages. This can help prevent unwanted 30+ messages when it comes to deciding which restaurant you are getting from the end of this week.
