Polar launched its first heart rate monitor more than 30 years ago, determining the standard measured against all others. Now, the company is bringing this technique into its line of sports watches with polar loops: a health and fitness tracker with no displays such as the What Band and Amazfit Helio Strap.
Without a display, the loop depends on a strong smartphone platform instead Polar flowWhich integrates along with other polar watches.

Similar to Amazfit Helio Strap, there is no membership with polar loops, so with a single $ 199.99 purchase you have access to the polar flow ecosystem. Unlike the Garmin Index Sleep Tracker, which only tracks your sleep at night, tracks the polar loop, active moments with automatic training detection, and of course, all details of your night’s sleep sessions.
Sander Vering, CEO in Polar, said:
With polar loops, we are encouraged to focus on everyday speed – they are small consistent actions that lead to permanent changes. Life itself moves in the ends, our daily routine and the shape of options. By helping to identify and improve these patterns, we are supporting permanent progress and healthy habits for all.
The physical design of these fitness bands runs the gamut, but the polar loop has flexed a slightly more premium aesthetics with a fabric band woven in a range of external colors.
While the exact prime sensor technique of the loop captures and records your heart rate data, the polar flow app translates data into sleep, recovery, activity and training metrics. In addition to the powerful Polar Flow smartphone app, the Polar Flow website is a great resource to check your progress trends, and to set and follow free training plans.
