I am riding behind a vemo, which is autonomously navigating the busy roads of San Francisco, with relative easily thanks to 29 external cameras, six radars and five lidar sensors. For just 15 rupees, I feel that what looks like a miracle of modern technology, and yet, a naging thought that I can’t move.
Music is useless here.
Vemo’s music-streaming feature has felt like an old barnakal associated with a future shell. By this week, the passengers were limited to some music stations, which played low-Fi beats, smooth jazz, ke-paps, or other styles, which they could take care of. For those who wanted to hear something and specific, they had to use another app from Vemo’s original company alphabet.
For iPhone users, it meant that Google Supporting App and configure to connect it to Spotify. At that point, you had to ask Google assistant through written or oral orders to stream some songs, artists, or playlists on the vemo. Even if you reach this point-you can be on half the path for your destination and have heard about three low-Fi beats-the service did not work firmly.
As I rode in a robotaxi filled with state-of-the-art technology, I was surprised why Womo did not find a simple way to stream music in the car speakers from his phone-a success that automekar and audio makers discovered a few decades ago.
So I was pleasantly surprised this week that Wemo launched one Spotify Integration The music-streaming and robotax-hyling services allow users to originally link. I immediately added services and to see how it will work.

Spotify integration of Waymo is nothing, but it adds to the user experience. It works basically, which hopes broadly when trying to play music on the speakers of his car in 2025. But riding in a vemo, listening to my own playlist or raising where I left a podcast, the previous seat of robotaxi feels more like my own place – which is one of the reasons that I opt for a vemo.

To set it, open the Wemo app and navigate on the “Music” section, where you will see a new offering that allows you to connect to Spotify. From there, you can press a button and authorize the spotify to connect to the Waymo, although the Robotaxi provider can give some access to the provider of your hearing.

I am sure that Apple Music users would soon want to stream their music and podcast in Vamos soon. Wemo spokesman Chris Boneli said the Techcrunch company is always searching for new privatization options, but did not clarify that the company could add an apple music integration.
Once my vemo and spotify accounts were added, I was like a vemo as I used to go and inside. On the vemo touchscreen on the back seat, there is an option to select Spotify. I tapped it, and podcast I was listening to my headphone, started playing with the exact location I left.

You can turn on or off “Autoplay” in the music settings of Wemo, and at the entry, the robotaxi will start playing automatically whatever song or podcast you were listening to the spotify. I liked it, but it seems that it can find you in a strange situation if you are listening to a deep true crime podcast and then join a vemo with work colleagues.
You can also use Waymo Touchscreen to choose from different types of customized playlists, which will be familiar with users, such as your “delist” or other mix. However, this selection does not include albums, audibooks, or podcasts you have recently heard.

Fortunately, your Spotify app now controls music in Waymo. You can simply select any song or playlist you want from your smartphone and stream it throughout the vehicle like you will use Apple CarPlay or Bluetooth speaker.

Finally, the spotify integration made my robotaxy feel more personal; I was also capable of tweeting bass, subwoofer and triple levels among the car speakers. This personalization may not be the main attraction for users for the first time, but it may return to them-and a loyal customer base is actually the same that needs the vemo.
