I have lost count several times on Google Chrome Sync. This is not a half time problem, but when the Google Chrome Sink is not working, I always fall into the process of elimination. Here are some steps that you can take.
1
How is your network connection?
My first step is to give my network once. Do I also have Wi-Fi to start? It is not very uncommon with thick walls and many rooms in my old house. You want to check all the equipment of questions related to your Google account.
It is also not uncommon from bad weather to have topical spotted networks. Disable Wi-Fi on your device and re-connect to start a new connection. If you want the device to sync Google Chrome data for cell data, consider enabling it when Wi-Fi goes out, so it raises the slack.
Using your cell data to sync Google Chrome will eat in your data cap. Only consider the option when it is an emergency.
Also, give your router a quick reset. It takes only two minutes! Find your router and unplug it. Wait for 60 seconds, plug it back, then re -install a connection. By doing this, any remaining packages shut down the performance of their network.

2
Make sure the sync is enabled on your device
If you are like me and use Google Chrome, you know that you can sink data between that device and a PC. I use it all the time, but if you have allowed Google Chrome and the sink feature is not capable, you will participate in syncing issues.
In Google Chrome, select three dots in the top-right corner to reach “settings”. From there, choose “you and Google” from options. If the SYNC is disabled, select “Turn on SYNC” to start it and if necessary, sign in with your Google account.
3
Update Google Chrome
Google Chrome is one of the apps that I cannot ignore to update for a very long time. I notice that when it is an out-of-date, I have more syncing problems, so a quick updated can set things correctly.
To manually update Google Chrome, open the chrome and select three dots again in the top-right corner. Choose “Settings”, then click on the Chrome “tab about the left”. This will automatically investigate for an update. And if you are using the Google Chrome app on your smartphone, you can update the app from your phone settings.

4
Repeat your Google account
Re -establishing your Google account on your equipment can sometimes fix sink problems. I do it every now and now when Google Chrome Sync doesn’t really want to work with me. I sign out of my Google account on all my devices, wait a few minutes, then sign in, but also make it a point to enable syncing.
If the sink is not working for you, then you should try the same thing. Sign out all your devices from your Google account. Make sure you remember your password! Sign back in after a few minutes, but create a point to enable it to sync in the settings of Google Chrome.
5
Get your Google Chrome Sync Settings Twenty
In the event you see some of your sink data, but not all, then you may have a problem with your settings. Google Chrome lets you choose individual sources of data, such as bookmarks, extensions, passwords and even your theme.
To double-check your sink settings, open “Settings” in Google Chrome and select “you and Google” on the side.
Once you are at the top, choose “Manage the sink you do”. If you want everything between the devices, then choose “Sync everything”. Otherwise, manually select the data you want to share.

6
Disable third-party software and double-check your firewall
Your firewall is great to protect you from malware, but it can prevent Google Chrome Sink from functioning properly several times. However, instead of disabling your firewall for good, you can make a firewall rule in Windows to allow through the functions of Google Chrome.
On that note, you may want to disable other third-party software such as Google Chrome. You have to play “Which extension is causing problems,” so go to Settings> Extension> Extension. Disable an extension at a time and see if your syncing works. If it is not, move on the next one.

7
Remove your chrome sink data
Said and done with all that, if the Google Chrome Sink is still not working, you have got a nuclear option: delete your chrome sink data. I give great advice to export your bookmark from Google Chrome and ideally, if you rely on Google to save them, you must have a copy of your password.
To clean all your sink settings:
-
Open “Settings” in Google Chrome, then choose “you and Google”. ,
-
Select “Sync and Google Services”.
-
At the top, you will see the option “review your syncing data” options, which will open a separate browser and list the sink data being currently stored.
-
At the bottom, choose “Delete Data” to purify your Google Chrome sink data.
Once the process is complete, disable the syncing on your equipment, re -install your Google account, and syncing back. Now you have a clean slate!
Sometimes Google Chrome Sink is a bit sensitive. I go out of my way, but when it is working, it is actually working. It is worth solving topical troubleshooting, able to carry data between equipment like bookmarks.
