WhatsApp is asked to develop a new feature for its iOS app, which aims to simplify the ability to handle several accounts on an iPhone. Earlier this year, Meta-owned instant messaging platforms were reported to work on multi-couted support for iOS equipment. Construction on this, a feature tracker claims that the WhatsApp settings for iOS will add a new section that shows all the accounts signed on the iPhone and quickly switchs between them.

According to WhatsApp feature tracker Wabetainfo is developing a multi-account feature for release on the future version of the messaging client app of Meta platforms. This iOS beta app version was seen on WhatsApp for 25.19.10.74. After its introduction, this feature is estimated to quickly switch to users on the iPhone between different accounts, individual or business.

Together screenshot shows that WhatsApp will add a new Accounting list Page in settings. It is said to act as a centralized hub for managing multiple accounts on the device. Users are expected to be able to connect or remove accounts, see their profile images and position for easy identity, and switch between them – from all account list page.

When the user selects a specific account, WhatsApp will load the chat history tied to it, and will change the settings and preferences. According to the feature tracker, it includes auto-down load settings, notification tones and backup preferences. In addition, WhatsApp or app does not require logging out of the restart to switch between accounts.

Additionally, the instant messaging platform is also asked to develop a new method of handling information in several accounts on the same device. When the user is logged into primary, a notification is received from the secondary account, WhatsApp will reportly display the name of the sender with an account name. Tapping on notification will automatically convert WhatsApp into secondary account and relevant interactions.

According to WABETAINFO, both these characteristics are still subject to development and are not available, even for beta testers registered through Apple’s Testflight program.
