WhatsApp for Android’s latest beta is allegedly rolling the facilities of status advertisements and promoted channels, which was first declared by Mata on 17 June. According to WhatsApp Beta Tracker, the latest beta version of the app is asked to allow trading account users or creators to post the material sponsored in the status section of the app, which help them promote their businesses.

These features are called status advertising and promoted channels. After being declared by the company on 17 June, advertisements in advertisements and promoted channel functions are now publicly available to beta testers.

The report provides details about two new features. The first is the alleged position advertisement, which will allow businesses to advertise their content in the status section. Creators, brands and other business account holders are said to have gained more rapid traction. It is said that there is a small label attached to such promoted channels that marks them as sponsored. The report claimed that two new features WhatsApp will not obstruct the privacy of users, while still allows businesses to grow.
