WhatsApp announced on Wednesday that it was starting a new feature that would allow users to add an additional layer of privacy to chat. The new “advanced chat privacy” setting prevents you and those who are chatting from exporting chat and auto-downloading media on their phone.
Settings also prevents users from mentioning the meta AI in messages or asking Meta AI questions.
The idea behind the convenience is that everyone should be assured in a group that no one can take which is being shared and said outside the chat.
It is worth noting that users can still take individual screenshots. WhatsApp says it is planning to add more efficiency to include even more security in advanced chat privacy in future, so it is possible that the company can stop screenshots in the future version of the feature.

Meta-owned company notes that this feature can be helpful in situations where participants do not know each other well, but are discussing sensitive topics. For example, you can discuss health challenges in a help group or hold around a meaningful community issue.
You can turn on the new setting by tapping the chat name and selecting the “Advanced Chat Privacy” option.
This feature is slowly playing in the coming months and will be available in both chat and groups.
While WhatsApp chats are already protected with end-to-end encryption, advanced chat gives privacy users an additional level of privacy. The new setting is included in the suite of WhatsApp’s privacy-centric features, including missing messages and chat locks.
