This slippery slope we stand down is falling down, and we are going to slide down in a very strange and supernatural valley. This technique was used in a court of law and without, it appears, the aid of a major corporation or significant money, means that more and more people will not only try to bring back relatives back to digital life, but will enable the real world and sometimes important interactions for them.
Pelky’s presence is an extreme case, for now, but possibly not an exterior. I hope other people will start working as AI avatars in all types of cases, from class action suits to civil divorce proceedings.
I am sure many family members will think that they are working in your best interest when they revive you digitally.
