The game informer has committed to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to donate 5% of each membership purchase price. If you have already taken membership or you are thinking about joining with us, we want to tell you more about our decision and help you understand what that money can do.
As the game informer returned after our gap, we talked a lot about what we wanted the outlet. Something that was the idea that whatever small way we can do, we want to make gaming a little better because you want to read or see what we do. We hope that your gaming hobby is better informed and more entertaining, and we hope that the way we write and talk about the game, it helps to promote better overall interactions about sports.
We also want to mirror what we have heard from our community for years; Many of you have told us that you give importance to opportunities to give and connect your love of gaming back to the wider world. Therefore, we are committed to making that a main part of what we do.
While there are countless notable donations with which we can make partners, we finally gravated St. Jude for some concrete reasons. Most importantly, we strongly believe in their mission and think that this is one of the reasons why none of you can lag behind.
St. Jude is moving ahead in the way the world understands, behaves and defeats diseases of childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The hospital treats children from across the United States regardless of breed, religion, or the ability to pay. Internationally, St. Jude shared what he has learned and its technology is to improve the survival rate of children with life-drugs everywhere.
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was often considered incurable. In later years, St. Jude has helped increase the overall survival rate in the US to more than 20% to 80%. We know that you share our desire to see that the percentage continues to grow.
Many of us know families who have faced the heart of a difficult diagnosis for a child in our family. Some of us have faced that challenge among our families or friends. If you can imagine that the situation is a reality for a child in your life, it is not difficult to understand why it is trying to help.
