At any time with the number of deadline on my head, whatever I cannot imagine, is alive without a two-do list. Although Google Task has been my Go-to-two app over the years, I decided to try to switch and microsoft for a week. Safe to say, I am not the biggest fan.
It has an interface … just too much
When it comes to this application, I use several times a day, such as my task management app, I like with a ridiculous simple user interface. The last thing I want to do is to add just a new task through many menu or to fully mark an existing.
Frankly, I think it is more complex to interface Microsoft. Initially, I thought this could happen just because I have been using Google tasks for so long, and perhaps it was just muscle memory. But even after using Microsoft to manage your work list for a week, I could not just be used for its interface.
For example, even simple to organize a task is relatively more complex than google functions. Once you make a A to do task, you can organize it by creating a category. But there is a twist: you can only create a category in the Outlook app. Why do I need to go to another app only to create a simple category to organize my tasks better?

Although it may look like night-skin, they add small things and feel unnecessarily slow and heavy to the entire experience.
List should be harder than management
Both Google Task and Microsoft to-Doo let you organize your tasks in different lists. Somehow, Microsoft managed to complicate something that should have been incredibly straight.
For example, to do, work in your individual lists does not appear Work The section, where you will expect to show all your tasks. You cannot move one task from one list to another after adding it, which is quite disappointed to me because it means to create a completely new task from scratches. With Google tasks, you can only pull and leave a task from one list to another.
In Google tasks, all your list appears in the sidebar to the left. You can togue which list you want to show as a separate card in the main scene.
Unlike Microsoft, whatever is happening in different fields, to see it, where it makes it easier to click one by one to see one -one in each individual list.
If you are working on various aspects of your life, such as work, education and personal commitments, lack of an option to see tasks from different lists is a deal-breaker. In Google functions, I can quickly scan what tasks are pending in all my lists at the same glance.
You cannot even determine the fixed dates for sub-work
In an ideal world, it would be enough to make me just a task to work on it. But as someone is doing something to simplify something as a person who sending an email, just adding an article such as “write” will sit untouched in my two-two list for age.
This is why I have made a habit of breaking the tasks that feel “big” in small sub-functions to make complex tasks feel less heavy.
For example, if I am preparing for an upcoming physics midnight, I will break it into sub-functions such as completing individual chapters, practicing and modifying old practice questions.
For large tasks, even a sub-work feels like a task. Therefore, as I need to add fixed dates in tasks, I also need to add fixed dates in sub-function to keep them on track. Using the same example, I will spread each of those sub-tasks in personal days.
Unfortunately, do not allow you to determine the dates fixed for sub-work. Therefore, when I need to do so, I chose to create personal tasks, which shuts down my two-do list that makes it disorganized and heavy. This reason alone was enough to convince me to go back to Google Back.
I do not need this structure in a two-do app
Although I am a great fan of arranging my actions in lists, it is all the structure that I want in a two-du app. This is more than enough for me, and that is why I have been clinging to Google tasks for so long. On the other hand, Microsoft, in this regard is the polar opposite of Google functions.
As mentioned above, one way to organize your functions in addition to lists is to create categories (from Outlook) and then meet your tasks by those categories. Frankly, I could not detect the difference between lists and categories, and the last thing that I should do, when I should use something, is as simple as a two-do list app to use your basic features.

Although the concept of convenience is great, I can imagine that it will help people to focus without thinking about other tasks that they need to complete, it is not just for me. I like the weekly plan on daily schedule, and although I like to keep an eye on the tasks that I need to complete for the day, I don’t need my day section for it.
Likewise, to Important And Planned The sections for my use also feel unnecessary. This is a more structure at a two-do list app at any time. All I want to do is to make a list of what I have to do, determine the fixed dates and a reminder if necessary, and proceed with the rest of my day. Nothing is less, nothing else. Certainly, to offer powerful features, but I think they are overcome for the average user.
Google task just fits my workflow better
Some people are purely Microsoft 365 in the world, while others are in the Google field world. I fall into the latter category. Given that Google function, well, is a Google application, it eventually integrates with each other Google collaboration tool.
When I determine a fixed date on a task in Google tasks, it is automatically added to my Google calendar. When I add a task to my Google calendar on a specific date, it automatically appears in my two-do list. I can also make work directly from Gmail!
