Windows is not a fan of 11? Here is told that I have made my system like Linux or McOS

    Key takeaways of zdnet

    • Selen UI is a desktop environment for Windows.
    • With this app, you can get a Linux or McOS look.
    • Selen UI is free to use and install on Windows 10/11.

As a long -time Linux user, my opinion about Windows UI has never happened to: I think it’s very disappointing. Given that Linux has a corneukopia of the desktop environment, from which it is to be chosen, it is understood that a person who enjoys a good aesthetics sees the windows and snubs it like a cat that snobs you bought new food.

When I received a laptop to review, which runs Windows 11 (and, for some strange reason, I could not allow me to boot from a USB drive, I could install Linux), was one of my first ideas, “How to make it more pleasant for me?”

Also: 7 most Windows – Lyc Linux Distros – If you are ready to dig Microsoft

I remembered that the developers – years ago – making the windows “skins”, who looked a little more pleasing to those of us who cared. Many of these were fun projects, but finally, they began to die.

Still, I thought, something would have to be done there.

Then i found Selen UiA fully adaptable desktop environment for windows.

I am not lying: it’s great. (A hard-core Linux is coming from the user, saying something.) According to the Selen UI Githb page, it is a tool “designed to enhance your Windows desktop experience with focusing on customization and productivity. It integrates smoothly in your system, allowing you to customize your desktops and adapt to your wide.” Looks about the right.

Also: This Linux distro I advise power users

I installed Selen UI on that Windows 11 laptop, and I was Giddy with results. No, I am not leaving Linux due to this Nifty desktop environment. But I am here to say: If you hate Windows 11 desktop’s look and feel, then Seeline UI is actually what you want.

Why should you give Silane UI

First, Selen UI Default is much more visually pleasant than Windows Desktop. Beyond beauty, you also get things:

    • Option to use tiling windows
    • A wide array of configuration options
    • A integrated media module
    • An easy way to quickly reach applications and orders
    • Different themes, taskbar layouts and icons

    Installation is simple

Because it is a Windows app, the installation is quite simple. The easiest (recommended) method is to detect selen UI in the Microsoft App Store and install it from there. You can also do Download binary installer (Be sure to illuminate the latest version), double-click on the downloaded file, and walk through the installation wizard.

One thing to keep in mind that Selen UI must be installed for both Microsoft Edge and WebView to work. WebView is installed by default in Windows 11, but if you are running Windows 10, it will have to be installed. The good news is that the webview is included in the installer, so make sure it is capable during installation (for Windows 10).

Also: This beautiful Linux distro deserves better known – why is it here

After installation, launch the app and run through the educational reception wizard.

Now, before I continue, I want to give a special warning that Windows users are most likely accustomed to. Many third-party plugins and themes are available. With any piece of Windows software, please take care as you never know what you are installed, there will be a malicious payload for riding. This is not to say that Selen UI falls under that category, but anytime I write about installing something on Windows, I think it is necessary to warn this.

    It is being said…

    Customize Selen UI

Selen UI adaptation is quite straightforward. You will find an app called Selen UI in your Windows Launcher. To open the Seelen UI settings manager, click on the launcher where you can make all kinds of changes and add new modules and themes. I added the round toolbar theme, (almost) liquid glass (Ala Mcos Taho) Dokbar Theme and Round Toolbar theme. Together, those three subjects are designed for a buggy-like desktop.

There is a lot to configure within the Selen UI app.

For those who do not know, Budi is a beautiful and highly configuration Linux desktop environment.

I also enabled the fancy toolbar, which allows you to customize the topbar and dock/taskbar.

Too: You can try Linux without digging windows first – how is here

After adding or enabling the subjects, Windows 11 desktop suddenly became a completely separate animal – one that I did not object to using.

You can spend a lot of time to customize Selen UI, but once you get your desktop, how do you like it, you will be happy that you tried.

If you are stuck using Windows, but stop the way the desktop looks and feel, try to try the sealane UI and see if it does not make the time when you spend a little more enjoyable on Windows.
