Visionos 26 was previewed by Apple in its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 main session. The upcoming major updates for the operating system for Vision Pro shows new features and increased spatial experiences. The operating system also greatly improves personality, adds spatial effects to the widget, and brings the convenience of a new spatial scenes. In addition, the cupertino-based tech veteran has also added new Apple Intelligence features and quality-of-off-life reforms. Everything new with Visionos 26
Unlike Apple’s other operating systems, Visionos 26 does not undergo any rigid design change, as the new liquid glass user interface (UI) is based on the spatial interface of visionos. However, with this recurrence update, the company has focused on refining existing features and adding new ones that add them. Tech veteran has also focused on expanding the range of spatial (enhanced reality or AR) experiences to reconcile the OS.

Vision Pro Users can also decorate their mixed-cosmopolitan places to decorate their mixed-captivating locations with widgets by adding spatial photos, watches with unique clock faces, and quick access to playlists and songs on Apple Music.
Better person and shared spatial experience
Persons with Visionos 26 are getting a major upgradation. Tech veteran says that he used volumetric rendering and machine learning technology to improve the expression and acuity of digital avatar. Personus will also show a full side profile view, and is said to have exact hair, eyelids and color convenience. When creating a person, users can now preview it and adjust it for it. In particular, Apple adds over 1,000 options for glasses.

Spacious scenes can be understood as an enlarged version of spatial photographs that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to add depth and increased perspective to an image. As a result, these pictures appear for a lifetime, where the users can slightly bend in the scene. New spatial scenes can be viewed through photo apps, spatial gallery apps and safari browser.
Spatial browsing and native support for 360-degree video
Safari browser is also getting spatial capabilities. With a new button, users can make browsing and article reading experience more immersive. Safari will also support spatial scenes, so that users can take full advantage of experience.

Additionally, Apple confirmed that Visionos 26 would support the 180-degree, 360-degree and wide field-off-view (Fov) material from devices such as Insta 360, GOPRO and Canon. Even if the content is 2D, users can now watch these videos more immersive. The upcoming OS update will also add support to the Playstation VR2 sense controller.

Apart from these major introductions and reforms, Visionos 26 is also getting new Apple Intelligence features, including updates of image playground. The features of AI now support new languages including French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish, as well as English in Australia, Canada, India, Singapore and UK. Other quality of life reforms includes look to scroll, which allows users to detect apps and websites using their eyes. Users can now customize scroll speed, and developers have the option to integrate the feature in the third-party app. The control center is also being re -designed to display features such as guest users, focus and travel mode in one scene.
Additionally, users will now be able to unlock their iPhone wearing their vision Pro. It can be enabled in settings for face ID-supported iPhone models. The mixed-cordial headset can also relay the call from a nearby iPhone and respond directly within the Vision Pro.
