We are fast arriving for switch to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 on the release date of July 11 (and yet untouchable switch 2 versions), but it will not prevent all of us from seeing what is ahead for the bird man, as far as the Remaster is concerned. Although nothing is confirmed for nothing, an interview with Hawk has surprised us whether underground sports (half) may have the next titles in the pipeline.
It comes from a new Screen bound The interview, where the outlet asked Hawk whether he had no hope of maintaining a series with the future remaster for Tony Hawk’s underground. “I always have aspirations,” the skater replied, “(but) it’s not on me. I will usually campaign, but I’m working with a very big company that is much more smarter than me”.
It is far from anything solid, but if the title athlete is the game and ready for the campaign, there are worse places to start.
He said, Hawk was in a hurry to add some explanation, stating that an underground remaster has not yet been discussed in activism from far away, and its plurality would probably depend on the financial success of the upcoming title. Hawk told screen rant, “We have not released the game either.”
After the Pro Skater 3 + 4, the underground will definitely seem like a viable way to go. Two underground games launched on Gamecube and Game Boy Advance in the early 2000s offered a more story-focused approach to the Pro Skater Gameplay.
We know that Pro Skater 4 will leave the classic career mode in favor of the time-limit of the upcoming remaster series, so with a little more free rein, something will definitely raise our souls in the future.
But who knows how much the underground return is really likely? This has been a long old wait between the two Pro Skaters Remaster (including the initial cancellation of the second release), so we cannot imagine that the activities are all-out on the late Tony Hawk. Let us hope that 3+4 sells well that we can see some underground in the future.
