If your kitchen counter is currently a vitamics blender habitat, you know that you can kill some serious whip SoupSauce, and Nut butter In that matter. In fact, the hot soup function of my vitamics is one of my favorite ways to use it. But it is almost summer, and I am no longer in the mood of soup. Now I behave cold. What can i do Favorite blender, Vitamics Essent X5 Go from hot soup to sorbet? Yes, and surprisingly well. In this amazing blender it is told here to make yourself a frozen sweets.
Vitamics is not an ice cream machine
It is important to note that vitamics is a blender, not an ice cream machine. Most ice cream machines have some type of cooling mechanisms (whether coolant, a compressor, or a frozen bowl) to cool the mixture, while a dasher or barma includes air – air bubbles small, creamier texture.
Vitamics does not have a cooling system. Blade produces heat, so instead it uses them, and speed, for its benefits. This means that you need to work in reverse – add the blender already add frozen food and it will whip the air in the mixture as it cuts the material. Then all you have to do is freeze the resulting soft-service texture in a more solid position.
As much as I enjoy a special tool like Ninja Slushi (This is beautiful crook), Multipurpose vitamics essent X5 blender actually completes the space boundaries of my small kitchen. I need to do a lot of different things with a few selected equipment, and the frozen dessert capabilities of vitamics add a whole new category to my home menu. (While Essent X5 makes things easier, you can use any vitamics – I will add those instructions at the end of this article.)
How to use frozen sweets function on vitamics essent X5
1. Consider components
The most important thing to consider is that your frozen liquid is the ratio of components. Since this blender does not have a cooling system to create frozen desserts, you need to add the coldest goods, while still providing enough liquid to move frozen goods so that the blade can catch it.

Vitamix website 1 cup guidelines and cups froze for liquid. This volume of liquid with some vigorous tamping with plastic tampering bat will result in stability like a thick, soft service, which you can immediately enjoy, or freeze in more solid, ice cream -like conditions. To use, I used two cups of frozen banana slices, and half a cup of a sweet vegetarian cream. (Forgive me, but I have a lactose intolerant Italian-American partner who regularly will be furious if I use heavy cream.) Add everything to the blender container and secure the lid.
2. Choose your preset
Turn on electricity. Press the three line “burger” button and you will see an array of food icon on the digital display. Use a rotating dial to choose a long -tailed glass with a pompadore and a little spoon handle.

3. Blend and Tamp
Press the start button. Take out the central plug of the lid and start tampering the material with tampering. The machine will start at a slow pace and ramps very quickly. Your only task is to force frozen items down into a blender blade. Once they all disappear in the mixture at the end, you can eliminate your tamping session.
4. Look for “quadrants”
Remember when I mentioned making hot soup in this thing? Well, the cause of heating the soup is due to heat that is made from the friction of high speed blades. You want heat as much as possible for your frozen sweets. This setting lasts for 50 seconds, but if you form four hump, or IV, mix, it is a sign of telling that your dessert is completely smooth and ending the combination. It should look like this:

Once you see the fourth, stop the preset, even if the time is left. My mixture was finished after 40 seconds, so I stopped the machine and quickly worked to dick it into a metal pav pan, which I had previously cooled into the freezer. I sprinkled some chopped chocolate on top and popped it in the freezer for a few hours to set.

Not only does this frozen dessert scoop like a dream, but the texture and taste is incredible. While it is not technically true ice cream, it eats like ice cream. I was afraid that it was scared after solving the cold rock Solid, but not – the mixture is well well and the stability is creamy and smooth.
