When I downloaded the app to see for myself, the posts first looked quite normal. A little strange, but normal. I saw fantasy scenes, landscapes, animals and AI-related pictures and videos of topical political person.
But then, in about 20 seconds, I saw a photo request for some adult pictures under an account with someone’s real name. I saw that there were a lot of comments in the photo, so I tapped to see more. Comments were follow -up questions from the person who were asking for more adult scenarios, and ultimately from the comments of hundreds of people who made fun of this person who almost did not know that it was public.

As I scrolled, I saw more than 95% of the posts or videos I wanted to share. However, I will see a topical post that was probably not: someone helps with details about the specific job for an interview for the job, someone is asking for details that forcible recovery has been formed, and someone drafs the apology letter to his husband. I also asked Meta AI to restale the pictures that did not seem even for the public.
Others Have seen very badI did not see anything wildly embarrassing, but maybe I must have been scrolling.
Fortunately, there is not a search button on the app, so you cannot especially go in search of people’s casual shares.
So what is going on?
How people are accidentally sharing signals for meta AI

The second is that the app does have A social media component. If you share something, you should expect people to see it.
Publicly sharing something is a two-step process that includes “shares” and then “post” tapping. Nevertheless, people are clearly indicating accidentally that they almost certainly do not want public. Most likely the explanation seems to appear that people are deliberately clicking on “post”, but it seems that it is some type of individual magazine.
When we asked Meta to comment, a representative reiterated that chat defaults are private and never become public until the user goes through the process to post. The representative said, “Some people will also say that there is a lot of friction to post the Discover feed.
