    If you have recently seen a hurry of unauthorized equipment logged in your ring account, you are not alone and no, you were not hacked.

    As reported BlappingCopperThe ring, which makes some of the best video doorbells and home security cameras, has revealed that a bug in the backnd update assured customers around the world that their accounts were hacked.

    One in post on FacebookThe company explained that it was “known about a bug that incorrectly displays pre -login dates as May 28, 2025.” Ring also updated its status page, stating that the bug informed about the wrong display within the control center in its app. The company also said that “We have no reason to believe that this is the result of unauthorized access to customer accounts.”

    In addition to the fake login entries, some ring customers reported that they saw unknown equipment, strange IP addresses and even those countries that they have never gone to the list of their authorized customer equipment. As Bleepingcomputer explains, it motivated many of them to believe that these entries could not only be the previous login.

    To make cases worse, it was much longer than many customers, believing that it would be to reverse the defective backand updates, causing all this confusion. In fact, even after three days, some users are still watching logins from non -recognized equipment.

    Similarly, some users reported to look at live view activity when no one had accessed the app inside their house. At the same time, other customers reported that they did not find a safety alert or multi-factor authentication prompt when the new device was added to their ring app.
