Google is doing beta test for YouTube shorts that connects Google lens to short-form video platforms. This feature will allow the watches to find more information about whatever they see in the brief material.
Once the facility is available, you can access it by stopping the short. The lens will be available from the top menu, which you can use to expose a part of the video to search.
From there, Google will overlay the search results on the lens clip. Google breaks it on one Support page, Which note is that this feature is coming only on iOS and Android mobile devices. The menu will also let you translate the caption.
Once you do with your search, you can close the lens or swipe on top of the results to close them.
In ManifestoGoogle said that during the least beta test, there will be no advertisement in the search results. It also states, “Lens experience is not available for shorts with YouTube shopping affiliated links or with paid product promotion.”

Probably, this will not happen when the convenience comes out of beta. Probably, some types of commerce under the Google line will add integration or Google shopping feature.
YouTube has been trying to make shorts more prominent in the last few months, especially in the TV app, so it is not surprising that more features are especially coming out to the short-form platform.
The new Google lens facility is starting rolling out this week. Like many Google rollouts, if you do not have immediate access, give it one or two days.
