YouTube Announced On Wednesday that this shorts creators are providing access to new genetic AI features, including an image-to-video AI tool and new AI effects.
The image for video features allows users to turn on a picture in six-second videos from their camera rolls. Users will see the selection of suggestions that are relevant to the photos uploaded by them. YouTube says that this feature can be used to add movement to landscape photos, to bring the conscious pictures of everyday photos, or group photos.
In an example given by YouTube, this feature transforms a stable image of a pedestrian signal into a small video that gradually zoom into the dancing version of The Walking Man symbol.
This feature works equally for one Already available In Gemini. In addition, it is similar to the conscious tool in the Edits app of the meta, which uses AI to convert static images into video.
The new tool is rolling out in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand next week. YouTube plans to bring it into more areas later this year. It is worth noting that the Google photo is also getting a similar image-to-video tool.
As new AI effects, manufacturers can use them to convert their doodles into artistic images and turn their selfies into videos where they are floating under water, twins with someone, and more. Users can achieve these new effects by navigating the “effects” icon in shorts cameras and then exploit “AI” to browse all common effects.
YouTube notes that the facilities announced today are operated by the AI model of VEO 2, Google for video generation. YouTube says it uses Synthesis Watermark and Clear label To indicate that these compositions were born with AI.
