Built at YouTube Live event on Tuesday, the company unveiled the new genetic AI tool for shorts creators. YouTube is bringing a custom version of Google’s text-to-video generative AI model, Veo 3 in shorts, with a new remixing tool, “Edit with AI” feature, and more.
The custom version of the Veo 3, called the Veo 3 Fast, produces an output with low delay on 480p, making the video clip easier, says YouTube. And now users can do this with sound for the first time.
This update is rolling out in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. YouTube plans to expand its functionality in more areas in the future.

YouTube shorts also bring new veo abilities, including the ability to apply speed from a video to an image. For example, you can still conscious the image by creating a dance person from a video. The company says that it is possible through technology that catch and move the movement from one subject to another.
Manufacturers can now use VOs to apply various styles such as pop art or original styles. Also, the creators now have the ability to connect items like varna or props with text details.
These new capabilities will roll in the coming months.

For the new remixing tools, manufacturers can convert dialogue from the eligible video for other shorts to attractive soundtracks.

“As the world’s largest creative playground, YouTube is the place where trends arise and where you can take inspiration. Imagine listening to a line that sparks an idea that sparks an idea-a strange philosophy, a memorable phrase, or one kind of sound-and you want to remix it in a new sound,” Director of YouTube and public products of YuTube, shocks and populous airs blog post“With our new speech for Song Remixing Tools, you will be able to do this.”
YouTube notes that this feature uses Google’s AI music model Lyria 2 to create soundtrack. The creators will be able to add their own vibe to the song, such as “Chill,” “Danceable,” or “Fun”.

The company plans to test the facility soon, says, and will roll it for more creators in the United States in the coming weeks.
With new editing with AI feature, manufacturers can convert their raw footage into the first draft. This raw camera transforms roll footage to the first draft and connects music and transition by finding and organizing the best moments. It can also add a voice-over that can react to what is happening in the video, what is happening in English or Hindi. The idea behind the convenience is to give the creators a starting point for their shorts, called YouTube.
YouTube is experimenting with Edit with AI on shorts and in YouTube Create App and will expand this feature in select markets in the coming weeks.
