Complete disclosure: I did not pre-order Nintendo Switch 2.
I was not completely convinced that it was worth upgrading to my OG switch, which still works fine. I told myself that if they take Gate 3 of Baldur to switch 2, it would be enough to buy.
This has not happened yet (and I don’t know what it will happen), but since then, I have taken time with our shared switch 2 in the office, and I often spend my lunch break in the Mario Cart world playing a knockout round in the world. Techradar to Harry (We are friendly rival).
Mario Cart 8 Deluxe is one of my favorite games on my OG switch, so naturally I really enjoy Mario Cart World. One day, when Harry and I were playing, we came with great ideas to host a tournament for our office. We gave ideas to our five colleagues and they all agreed. Everyone loves Mario Cart, isn’t it?
So seven of us chose a date and time after work and let it open. Fortunately, no friendship or work relationships were damaged in the construction of this tournament.
setting the stage

The rules for our Mario Cart World Tournament were simple: a group of four players and another group of three players would compete in 12 races, battling it in the best-three performances with the winners of each group.
We plugged one switch 2 in one TV and the other to Switch 2 in another TV next to it. Our joy-curses and third-party controllers (involved with the tortoise beach), we excluded it.
Despite my high hopes, I finished second in my group, which meant that I did not progress at the closing. I was definitely surprised, because I really enjoy winning, and I get very competitive. The only person I am happy to lose really is my partner and this is where I draw the line.
So no, I was not in another place and it meant that I had to see two winners of groups now. Like -as I sat there with my arms and my eyebrows are a little bloated (no, I am No One throat loser), some dward on me. I … really enjoyed watching others playing? Panting
Mario Cart as an audience game

I sat there with my eyes on TV and I fully enjoyed two finalists and navigated around the shortcut in my own way and flowed into oblivion, while the NPC bombed him with red shells and sometimes blue shell. And I have to say: Mario Cart makes World One Great The spectator sport, and much of it is down to NPC.
I have drowned at least 80 hours in Mario Cart 8 Deluxe and I never think I was out by NPCS. Surely, once you fall below the Peking order and find yourself in the last 10, things become sticky. But Mario Cart is never as bad in the world as there are 24 racers on track results Very Anarchy – so much that people have often complained about the difficulty of the game R/nintendoswitch And r/mariokart,
NPC, for a change, looks intelligent and smart. They will take shortcuts, grind on rail, target you, similarly and further, and if you are not in the top form and are not using the shortcuts, the game will punish you.

This is why the concluding of our tournament was seen so thrilling – five of us who saw it did not know what to expect, and I suspect that the finalists either did it. It was very thrilling to see, and certainly the Mario Cart was more fun to see than the 8 deluxe, which, after a while, becomes estimated and you do not even break the 150cc+players.
Our office Mario Cart World Tournament has cement the game as one of the great people for me, which I did not think before. It is very funny for those who do not like video games, to choose with characters and piles of vehicles and with a variety of race tracks. I can no longer wait to host another tournament.
