This 112 grams of micro air vehicle (MAV) has foldable propeller weapons that can lock in a compact rectangular profile compared to the size of a smartphone. The vehicle can only be launched by throwing it into the air, the point at which weapons will appear and will authentically stabilize a hovering state. Several flight tests demonstrated the capacity of the feedback controller to stabilize the MAV from various initial conditions, including the tambling rates of up to 2500 degrees/s.
