I ended the rest of the #DepTQ episode last night. I cannot say enough about how good the performance of good God is in this one. I think with a better overall secret, the show has the ability to be one of the best. The end was emotional and I could not wait for another season. pic.twitter.com/dlddtlnp0tMay 31, 2025
While we currently have no words DepartmentFuture future, it would definitely be good to see it returning to one of the best streaming services. I have always been a big fan of police plays, recently outstanding BBC series Duty lineAnd one of its stars appears in Kelly McDonald, Department Too.
She joins a magnificent cast with Gode, Mark Bonar, Jamie Sivas, Shirley Henderson and Kate Dicky, whose performances actually raise this gritty, nail-biting drama.
The series follows the construction of a new police unit, a cold-case division “in the hope of generating a good press for an Edinburgh Police Department”.
It was built by Scott Frank, who co-produced the brilliant Netflix show The Queen’s GambitAnd it is safe to say that he has done it again here.
While two shows are very different, he was definitely clinging to his television sets, and we can only hope that Department Comes back to another round.
