If you are coming to this new game unaware of DK’s previous achievements, then I will forgive you. Perhaps you missed some of the biggest hits because you were not one of the ten people who bought Wii U (cannot blame you). Perhaps you are just a young and do not go back to the old classics (a mistake).

A sequel for Wii U brought back the tropical freeze, even the famous composer for the Soundtrack, David Wise. However, both the games were ported to switch, and I recommend both heartily.
Hollywood makeover
The last new donkey Kong game (one side port) before now was technically mini Mario and Friends: Amibo Challenge, which was dropped in 2016, which ended the donkey Kong Banza nearly a decade-lax. A part of the Impatus to lose the streak is the Super Mario Brothers film, which was prominently donkey Kong and set a long way to restore his star power. The DK was refreshed at an entire design, which has different characteristics from the rare design, but sanding some old edges.
