Design and unboxing
Even with all characteristics, Eufy Omni E28 does not take much room from other manufacturers as other robot vacuum/mop combos. This is very good news, especially if you have a small apartment or home.
The base station is 14.6 inches wide, 19.2 inches long and 17.3 inches deep. It takes just a few minutes to set up. You have to take the base station from the packaging and then attach the spot cleaner over it. Clean water tank and detergent need to be filled. Then, take the robot vacuum and keep it in the dock.
Due to unique design and features, there is little work to use dirty water tank and vacuum bags, but it was not a big problem for me.
After plugging into the power cord, you will need to open the partner Eufy app and finish the setup. The entire process took less than 5 minutes.
Strong vacuum suction with two great characteristics
Even though the OMNI E28 is a host of additional bells and whistles, the vacuum part is still the most important feature.
Thanks to the 20,000pa of suction, the OMNI E28 is one of the best in the market. There was no problem that whatever ended on my floors, including dog food, rice, flour, and more.
The two characteristics helped the vacuum stand out. The first is cornerover arm. Many robot vacuums on the market have a uniform hand that can help find a mess on the floor, and kick it enough to use enough for the vacuum. But with E28, the hand corners will expand automatically, often location of a problem for round -sized vacancies. Looking at the E28 in action, it was good to see it to catch some important dust and dirt that gathered in the corners.
Another problem with robot vacuum is hair from humans and cute friends. Even with a little use, the hair can easily get entangled on the vacuum brush, so that they do not operate efficiently or completely prevent the brush from moving around. To take care of the tangles, you will usually need to do dirty work and cut or peel the hair manually.
Eufy has created a unique system to make the problem a matter of the past. When vacuuming, dual brushes use further rotation to lift the hair and channels directly in the robot. When at the docking station, the brush will retreat and in both directions the collection will roam to make everything in the bag.
I was slightly doubted after using another robot vacuum that claims to be a tangal-free, but E28 won me. After some important use, hair or fur was not found anywhere near the brush. This is a less maintenance concern.
Most modern, high-ended robot vacuums, E28, have avoidance features, so it will not be caught on cords or other items left on the floor.
An MOP that remains clean and does anything too much
The E28 suggests that the moping technology of combo units has upgraded. Moping is adjacent to the vacuum with an 11 -inch roller which is constantly moving while working. You can customize how much water is used in the fellow app. If the floor is dirt, more water will work best to help clean it.
With the system, you will not need to worry about the roller, whatever it cleanses and spreads it around the house. After cleaning the dirt and dirt, it will then be fresh with clean water and detergent. Next, dirty water will be squeezed into a specific reservoir. The roller will once again be cleaned on the dock with warm water, drying it to prevent bad smell.
While the roller remains clean when working, it applies to a real person to mimic more than 3.3 pounds, which pushes down the stains down.
The results were strong as vacuum. I never try to create a stress test for a robot vacuum, which I test, just like to try on my normal dirt that always piles up around my house. I used e 28 to print sloppy claws, dried milk, some kind of dried sauce, and each time, MOP did a quick job of stains.
Spot cleaner takes top honors
The top attraction of OMNI E28 is portable spot cleaner, the first for any robot vacuum. You have probably seen other standalone spot cleaners, and the unit works equally. When you are ready to clean, just unplug the electricity and then remove the cleaner from the base station. Wherever you are working to start, plug back it back. It has its own dedicated power button. When not in use, there is a cover to make less specific on the dock in the hose.
On the hose, you will press a button to spray water on the stain. There is no dedicated space for detergents, so you can add something to the water or simply spray a cleaner directly on the stain. Just press the hose on the area to suck water and detergent. Unlike some other cleaner, water is not heated while dealing with stains. But you could always add warm water to the pre -clean tank.
There are mostly hard wood floors in my house, so there was no carpet to try cleaner. Instead, I focused on furniture and rugs. And on both of them, the cleaner crossed my expectations.
With a beagle that enjoys messing up both indoors and outside, my furniture usually takes the brunt of the massacre. I can easily find mud and stains of unknown origin on my couch throughout the house. I used spot cleaner to fight those people.
I sprayed a little cleaner on each stain and then used the hose, and each one went into a few seconds of scrubbing. There were some spots that were at least a few months old, and the cleaner still did great. After killing all my furniture, I also used the system on my wife’s light colored fabric cars, and made a huge difference.
When done with cleaning, there is another button on the bottom of the tube that will send clean water through the brush and hose, so that you do not worry about bacteria and later aroma.
Should you buy Eufy Omni E28 Robot vacuum?
If you have a lot of carpet and cute friends in your home, it is easy to recommend the Euffy Omni E28 robot vacuum. The portable cleaning system works surprisingly well and can help deal with carpets, furniture, stairs and even stains in your car. I was really surprised how much cleaner my furniture was after using the system. This took care of the years of dog hair, which I never knew.
Vacuum, thanks to its dual-brash system and high suction, works easy for hair and other dirt and debris on the carpet or hard floor. I was also very impressed by the MOP that did a good job on any type of stain. This is something that you do not want to remember to help keep any type of floor clean.
