Ae dev platform Throat face The robotics continued to push on Thursday with the release of two new humanoid robots.
The company announced a pair of Open Source Robot, Hopzar and Rei Mini. Hopzer is a full -size humanoid robot consisting of independence degrees or a capacity of 66 independent movements, including the ability to move and move its arms. Reachy Mini is a desktop unit that can transfer, talk, listen, and use a desktop unit that can move its head to test the AI apps.
These robots do not have an accurate timeline for shipping in Hugging Face. The company’s co-founder and CEO, Claim Delangue, told Techcrunch on email that they expect at least the first few units to start shipping by the end of the year, and the weightlist is currently open.

The Hugging Face estimates that the cost of HopjeR will be around $ 3,000 per unit and the mini’s cost will be $ 250 to $ 300.
“The important aspect is that these robots are open sources, so no one can gather, rebuild, (and) understand how they work, and (that they) are inexpensive, so that robotics are not dominated by some big players with dangerous black-box systems,” Deongyu said through email.
This robot release became possible in the company’s Humanoid Robotics Startup Parag Robotics part in part of the acquisition, which was declared in April, according to Delungue. He said that the pollen team gave the face of the “new capabilities” required to make these bots.
Hugging face has been giving a solid push in the robotics industry over the years. It launched LeerobotA collection of open AI models, datasets and tools to create robotics systems in 2024.
So far in 2025, the company has released an updated version of its 3D -printed and programmable robotic arm, SO -101, which the company made in partnership with the French robotics firm The Robot Studio. This expanded training data on its leerobot platform through partnership with AI Startup Yak, so that training data for self-driving machines can be included.
