Finally, after 15 Year, we have a new 2026 Nissan Leaf. As the “tricks” of the global car markets, it is no longer a compact hatchback. Now it is a compact SUV- or, more accurately, a crossover utility vehicle that is built on passenger-vehicle underpinning.
The new Leaf will offer a series up to 303 miles, says Nissan says, powering the 160 kW (214-Horespower) motor from a 75 kW-hour battery pack, which produces 261 pound-feet (354 newton-meters) torque. This motor drives the front wheels, but despite its long, utility appearance, the all-wheel-drive is not on the table.
The 2026 leaf can charge up to 150 kW via North American charging standard port on the right-front fender with 10 to 80 percent of the battery capacity in 35 minutes under ideal conditions. The driver will benefit from the standard plug and charge protocol that allows them to be plugged into the car and automatically handled on the competent charging network with verification and billing. In particular, the AC charging port with J -1772 socket is on the left -front fender; The dual charge ports are unusual outside the high-end model such as the port Porsche Tycan.

Small and smooth
Stylistic, the leaf resembles a small Nissan Aria – the large EV crossover of the brand. Google Maps and Google assistants are made in dash, and, with many new EVS, maps will advise charging stops on the car range more than the car range. A long, checker history
