Microsoft problem
See, the biggest win of Skype was also the sword of Damocles hanging on its head: its 2011 purchase by Microsoft. What people wanted for remote working shift during epidemics were an effective, direct video conferencing tool. He did not find that in Skype, which had already become a bloated shell of his former self after the years of ‘Innovation’ at the hands of Microsoft.
