Your Galaxy Watch is no different from your phone or even a dirty room. When it is used excessively, it also becomes cluttered.

What is cache on Galaxy Watch?

Like a dustbin, it gets filled with junk after some time and starts overflowing if not handled properly. To add more junk (or data) to the can you will eventually have to dispose of the junk in the dumpster.
Clearing your cache removes some of the junk that is slowing down Galaxy Watch performance.
